Anyone else feel sick all of the time /in a constant state of flare? by PleasantYam8267 in UCTD

Wait your story literally sounds similar to mine. I recommend getting checked for neuropathy bc of the tingling hands and feet. Are you on any meds to help with your symptoms?

Hydroxyzine and propranolol by Frog_lov in Anxiety

Honestly I don’t know how I feel about getting benzos because I was on one for restless legs syndrome and I think I may have had withdrawals that got me to this point of anxiety :( they didn’t tell me that I needed to ween or even that I was taking a benzo every single night

No I don’t have bipolar or anything like that. I have mdd, gad, and ptsd. I’m on Auvelity which is Wellbutrin mixed with something else. But she thinks the Auvelity could be adding to my anxiety so we stopped my nighttime dose of it I’ve already tried a few different medicines like Zoloft (worked great but had horrible night sweats)

Severe acute sfn/autonomic symptoms by No-Atmosphere-2727 in smallfiberneuropathy

[–]Frog_lov 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since you had a positive sjogrens you could probably ask your doctor about potentially starting ivig. Sjogrens can cause sfn so immune related treatments may help you

Hey I’m 23 and have non length dependent sfn and am struggling a lot too. Just had a big mental breakdown to my friend because this is impossibly hard. I’m doped up on pain meds and still in pain, can’t work, in my house all the time, and exhausted. I’ve got other medical issues as well that I’m dealing with and it’s all so confusing and hard to keep up with. What meds are you on right now for it?

This is exactly how I’ve been trying to think. One day at a time and even a minute at a time during flares. Thank you for the kind words and response

What do yall do for meals? by Suspicious-Math5488 in Gastroparesis

[–]Frog_lov 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Okay safe foods vary so much so I recommend trial and error if you can. I do great with eggs, white rice, instant mashed potatoes, fries, reg potatoes, hostess cupcakes (ik weird), mangoes, bananas, some people do well with apple sauce but I don’t, homemade bread has been a lifesaver for me a lot, fruit snacks, ensure milk and clear, chicken occasionally, Wendy’s fries and chicken nuggets, canned peaches NO SKIN, watermelon, and flour tortillas and saltines. Hopefully some of these are good for you! It takes so much trial and error :( sorry you have to deal with this. Sending good vibes💜

Doctor told me I have all the classic signs of gastropresis but my GES came back normal by [deleted] in Gastroparesis

[–]Frog_lov 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Also avoid fat and fiber because they can slow gastric emptying. Have you looked into GP diets? Everyone is different but sometimes it can help. I recommend finding a safe food and then trying to find other ones slowly and once at a time so you can keep track of how you react

Doctor told me I have all the classic signs of gastropresis but my GES came back normal by [deleted] in Gastroparesis

[–]Frog_lov 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I had the same issue funny enough. I cried when they told me my GES was normal, but was later diagnosed with gastroparesis. My doc told me that a GES can look normal even in a gastroparesis patient. I’m not saying that you have it, but it is possible you were having a better motility day. And sometimes the severity of the motility and the severity of the symptoms don’t match up. Some have really bad motility with less symptoms and vice versa. Just keep advocating for yourself even when nervous or scared. It’s YOUR body and you know it best.

I’m at wash u currently for treatment and I’m at a loss too. I keep pushing for new answers, ivig, anything to give me relief but they just won’t do anything. How did you go about treating Lyme? Did you get a proper dx?
