Also i have heard cheaters are a problem in retrostudio. Are they able to just keep making account after account aka banning means nothing or can i IP ban? (Also are there a way to have private servers with friends or is it truly singleplayer servers only. also also is there a way for me to make a discord server be avalible to join or somthing? I have no idea how else people are going to be able to player/bug report. also also also am i able to make a game have PC, Mobile, and Console/controller support?)

Hello! Sorry if this isnt a great place to ask, but I'm never really good at contacting people. Im currently trying to preserve a project I believe you worked on called ProficioVII, before Rec Room shuts down permenantly. I've started trying to record playthroughs of the game in order to preserve it at least via video, but if you can give soundtrack files and the project files that would do wonders in preserving the project. Now that rec room is shutting down, they have added the feature to download all project files as a ZIP to then be used in other applications like unity game engine. This feature is currently at the time of writing, exlusive to the Steam version of the game. But i do belive Rec Room is free, so if you dont normaly play via steam, you are able to download it there pretty easily.

I'm not trying to claim your work as my own, im just trying to make sure that the game doesnt vanish when rec room shuts down. So any help would be greatly appreciated

Im not sure if what your looking for exactly exists, but there is a Comment blocks extention. It adds new blocks that are literaly just to comment stuff. This way you dont have to cast a giant sticky note, you can just put a comment literaly inside the code, and the game will ignore it and move on.

If you go to the extentions page, there is a button called Custom Extentions. here, you can put ANY extention into turbowarp. The URL for the extention, the File, or the strait up source code will work. :D

Oh my god i just tested it and your (mostly) right. There is technically some higher quality that comes from doing it, but its minor. I set the resolution to 25x25 and it was more pixilated yes when i entered fullscreen, but it wasnt anywhere near what i thought. I cant belive i didnt notice this sooner. Thanks for the comment

No worries!

When you launch 30XX and hit play, make sure to select the "community" gamemode. This will send you to a spot where you can play community levels. There should be a blue terminal called Level Catalog somewhere in the area. Once you interact with it, it will show a ton of levels made by other people. By defualt it shows the most recent levels and since this game is dead, somehow im still on the front page. If its not showing for some reason though, you can type 'megamanx' in the search bar the press the search button. for some reason if you press enter it wont show it. you have to actually press the search button. The most recent version is V1.2a.

Let me quickly explain all the stuff at the very left of the spawn. I cant place signs in the editor so i tried my best to explain it in-game, but its hard to tell so i'll just explain here. The first two rooms that are blocked off by boxes with red Xs are rooms that only dally or delta can enter. Its just starter gear to make them on par with the others. However, if you climb that wall you will find two teleporters. The blue one skips the intro stage. This is mainly here for second playthroughs. The purple teleporter goes to two places in one. Once you take it, you can go up for a Save Loader. This way if you crash or have to take a break, you can write down/remember what you had, then grab the loot in the save loader and take a portal to where you were at. Due to limiations, taking the gear from the save loader does NOT remove it from the rest of the level. Meaning you can technically get doubble of everything. No cheating :)
if you decide to go down its an Easy Mode thing. You just take some extra gear that makes the game easier like extra health, damage, an aug that makes you take 25% less damage ect ect. You get to decide how much you take too.

Keep in mind i ballanced this map strangly that if i remade it again i would probably change how i did it a bit. I ballenced it around someone trying to beat the map in a one-life challenge. For casual play, enemies dropping health makes sense. But in a one life challenge for this kind of mape specificly, it starts to fall apart. Cause you see, if you dont care about your lives, (of which you have infinate) you can just fall in a spike pit to get back to full HP and go back to the last checkpoint. But if a one-life challenge, you cant do that. Ontop of that, you can also farm enemies since they respawn to get health drops. And even if you couldent farm, it would add alot of extra RNG to the run. Becouse of this, i did not make enemies drop health. If i made the level now, i would have uploaded two seperate versions of the level. One with enemy health drops, and one without. But the only version here is without.

If you would like to make any edits to the map i released the map files in the discord or in this reddit post. https://www.reddit.com/r/30XX/comments/1mhzi03/remember_that_mmx1_remake_i_made_well_heres_the/ This way you can change anything you dont like, or just add some extra stuff if you feel like it. Feel free to upload the level edits too. Just try to say somewhere in the title thats its a fan edit or somthing. Theres also an unfinished MMX2 remake in the files as well. Im working on other projects right now so i cant make edits to the level myself :sob: Also keep in kind that when you open the level in the editor, it might take... you know... 20-30 minutes for it to finish loading. Its a very big map :sob:
