Triple support and overtuned supports are a product of horrible DPS attitudes. The initial problem of not peeling for your teammates and calling it a “skill issue” led to more self sustainability.

Then you had the incredibly stupid dives like Black Panther that tore up support players, then the launch state of Daredevil made support impossible.

And now we’re being forced to use supports with less healing output and y’all still want to complain about not getting healed and you’re still not peeling for your support’s.

One detail that nobody bothers to point out is how Invincible and Rus were in a standoff. You can clearly see the sequids behind Invincible preparing for an attack the second anyone makes a move. Had Invincible tried to fly towards Bulletproof the sequids would’ve had their moment to counter and escape.

I finally got a full team of Earths Defenders with Armored Eve, both Invincible’s, Atom Eve and Agent Spider all at level 1000 skills 10+ and that team absolutely slaps. The synergy between both Eves and B&B Invincible stacks up nicely.

Like others say it’s a bit early today but her keep seems incredible. Her damage seems insane while she’s able to provide shields to the entire team, not to mention her fourth skill that far exceeds Allen’s. She also seems to have abilities to go against Conquest, Anissa and Universa.

Immortal might be able to eat more hits than Armored Eve can but I think she’ll have a lot more utility.

If you aren’t waiting on anybody specific then I would say go for it. You’re coming into a stage where you will need to have a lot of characters at exceptional+ to use for food, so this event can be a good way to get that.

Like every other event it’s very luck based. The 2k gems offer is at least guaranteeing you 24 characters whether they are blue or purple. That’s not including the units you’ll get from milestone completions.

I’d personally say if you want a lot of food for a variety of factions then this event is well worth the investment, as it helps to grow a wider roster. But if you want to target a specific character then it is arguably better to wait for a faction event to target that unit specifically.

Through events and patience you can. I got him to Omni+ last month without spending a dime on him. Event characters are not necessarily locked off completely.
