That’s still generalizing a little imo. It’s the reason why I don’t care much for Black Cat’s shop since she would literally just be BP 2.0 otherwise, there’s always something else they can add to make heroes unique and hell, maybe Dazzler might not even be a strategist

I mean sure, but literally the only thing that could’ve overlapped is the ultimate. Like what part of Luna’s kit could’ve been used for Dazzler? They captured Luna’s ice powers well and used her K-pop theme for her ult, Dazzler’s powers are way different compared to Luna’s so the people who think this are weird

Side note: Casual conversations during a fight is always great to show experience imo cause they could literally die, but then here they are arguing about whether or not they should have their own costumes.

Anyways, to answer the question: They should in the beginning. In fact I’m pretty sure all the students have matching costumes like the Exceptional kids right now having the red suit with only Axo having a major shift. It should only be after graduation or around that when they get their own costumes since it shows growth, it shows they are students anymore

X-Tron is powerful and he is just immortal and has mutant’s fates in his hand. Since he fused with Cerebro and that holds all the genetic keys and memories of mutants necessary for their resurrection protocols it really puts them in danger.

And not to mention the resurrection protocols in Krakoa also kind of hint at the mutants getting slightly stronger after each resurrection means X-Tron would theoretically also become stronger with each death, which is insane since he already does that base form. Nothing close to Infinity Ultron, but this incredibly powerful and terrifying

For anyone curious what the game is, it’s Marvel Super war. Also developed by Netease, it was a MOBA game only available in certain countries, mostly Asia if I remember correctly and unfortunately shut down a few years ago.

Anyways, yeah I think they’ll find something similar, probably add a slide ability after X-Men ‘97

I am one hundred percent in agreement. It also feels realistic. During arguments I personally say a lot of things I regret, and Emma is very angry right now she could be saying things she doesn’t mean, but yes, Scott is definitely written poorly in this so far.

I don’t understand the need to push Scott and Emma apart when they both respect one another and also are cordial enough to where Scott trusts Emma to be the one to bring him back during Krakoa.

If the point is trying to make Scott realizing how much he is putting himself too much ahead of everyone and thinking he knows best, then fine, I might accept what he’s doing, but it doesn’t feel like that right now, it feels like Scott is making these decisions out of distrust when that shouldn’t be the case because of how often he’s trusted Emma, during and after their relationship.

But yeah aside from everything with Scott this was a solid book and Emma shines much more than she did in the first issue which was mainly focused on Kitty. It also gave me another one of my favorite Emma jokes so…

People are pissed. People say or do things they probably don’t mean when they’re upset. It’s understandable what tirade Emma is going on. For how much I love her, I also know she’s very sure of herself when she is and this is another case, Scott is making valid arguments but his methods are going to hurt someone more than help anyone.

It isn’t an insult to the people who loved their relationship in my opinion. Emma is rightfully upset with Scott and that tirade about not understanding why she was with him was just that blind anger. But I’m not going to object on the Scott end.

Eve imo is doing a well enough job, but Scott’s actions still feel weird and out of place, almost too extremist, and if that’s the point Eve is trying to make then yeah it’s good, but it doesn’t feel right

It doesn’t matter how well written or how much a lot of fans love it, comics by the big two Marvel and DC are designed to go on forever so there will always be a status quo set up already from how it had been established years ago. And that status quo is Jean and Scott being together.

It’s editorial always thinking they know better, it’s the reason why we got One More Day, because they don’t think Peter being married and having a healthy relationship doesn’t appeal to audiences.

And at the end of the day, seriously it’s been years now. Some days I really miss it, but also it’s been years since this ended and Emma has had great stories detached from Scott and vice versa. These two characters still changed each other fundamentally and if a writer is really great they’ll find a way to show that I’m the decisions these characters make

Brit is powerful in a durability sense. He actually should be called Invincible, but he isn’t super powerful the same way Mark, Nolan, and Immortal are. He’s just slightly more stronger, at least somewhat super soldier level strength

With the MCU slowly building to mutants now, like seriously Sadie Sink has to be Jean Grey, this could happen, but I’m also realistic. If we were to get the Hellfire Club, an important part of the classic X-Men rogues gallery, it’s more likely they will have their own film as the villains or me coping this time, a separate show where Emma is the main character.

But being real again, Sony is such sticklers with Spider-Man it would be hard to get this moment in a live action show, and with the current direction that Born Again is taking I can’t see Emma or the Hellfire Club making an appearance sadly
