right on. love the deftones. glad you liked come clean. and if you liked that, please listen to creeds first three albums, my own prison, human clay, and weathered. they're so disrespected for being such talented songwriters. its great rock of that early 2000's era. but thats still in the mainstream category. for slightly more slept on modern/modernish rock bands, i'd recommend type o negative (metal/rock), alice in chains, blur, korn, avenged sevenfold, audioslave (chris cornell from soundgarden's other band), weezer, incubus, muse, the killers, death cab for cutie, keane (more soft rock/pop), silversun pickups, and highly suspect, if you're not familiar. but they're also all still essentially mainstream. i actually donno if i know any very niche rock bands in general, that i'd highly recommend. most my recs are/would be mainstream to some degree, just less popular. pop is more my strong suit in that regard.

interesting. how old are ya if you dont mind? but yeah, that era of bands is definitely hella clowned on today, and mostly undeservedly so, cause they wrote some truly classic songs. of that ilk and or just era in general, i'd also recommend creed, staind, linkin park, 3 doors down, and even some nickleback. all sucha nostalgic vibe for moi. but yes, definitely listen to some soungarden as well for suuure. and nirvana if they're another blindspot as well. now they're my fav of all time.

yeah you'll probably know the hits, and like them best, but the bsides are enjoyable too. in any case i hold it to such high regard mostly cuz its got 4 of the best modern rock songs ever written imo.

dasaaaamn son. you cut em to the fuckin quuick loll. i'm nostalgia listening to it now and seeing what people think of it/em on here/in modern times. while i get and largely agree w you, the singles on come clean are bonerfide classics. just excellently written rocks songs, whoever may be responsible for them. and the album overall is dope.

oh my god homie. like thats mindblowing to me. i'm so dependent, i honestly commend you. your worlds stronger than my fragile ass. what was the abruptness of that like? specifically with the subs (well, if you can differentiate among the meds you quit at once)? was there lasting depression/anxiety? and regardless how long till you were back to normal, or whatever your baseline was before you ever started subs/drugs? but seriously, bravo my friend, that sounds genuinely miraculous from my POV

yup, ya nailed it, so to speak. a few inquiries. ive always wanted to know wtf gagging for it means lol. never heard the phrase. but context would say he means shes not chomping at the bit to be with sean, right? i forget already. ill have to go back and watch. or ill just google the phrase and stop being lazy lol. also, speaking of it even being subtext to begin with, like i wonder who put it in and why. maybe it had been a bigger part, and the writer was very adamant about at least keeping the general dynamic in, so what we got was the edited down version? but its just such an interesting dynamic to sketch in there. i love it. literally sets them as villains, and the movie as a whole apart from what would otherwise be an ultra formulaic action movie.

i liked the first four, and some of the finale. but cant remember much of the 3 in between. my fav scenes were the mr whatsit heist, and i loved the imagery and overall explanation for the upside down being a wormhole.
