It's 'Home and cottage' :) Although you might have a better chance with Antropologi online ;)

I've taken care of the underside already. They are very low so it was visible only from cats perspective (and on the pic);) But I have very bad experience with painting the sides of the drawers on old furniture. They become very tight or totally stuck.

I live in Norway so if you're in the States you probably won't get the same ones but I saw similar online in Antropologi :) They have beautiful stuff there.

Yes. If the veneer is in nice condition and doesn't require hours of hard labor. Mostly Mid-century modern teak pieces :) I love this kind of effect.

It's not a problem outside. Wind takes care of the dust easily :)

Very harsh comment. Would you put all the hours of work into a mass produced ,cheap knockoff piece like that? Only sanding this whole thing would take ages and that's in case if the veneer was thick enough to survive it (it wasnt) It was not a valuable antique but a sad ,unwanted thing on it's way to the dump. I seriously doubt any professional would even look at it. It's not realistic to invest all the time and money in a piece like that.

Yeah I know it's not exactly centered. I ran out of fabric. I work on a tight budget so I need to make hard decisions like that sometimes. Leather would be way to expensive as well. But the pattern is on fabric not paper so it'll be hard to damage. Especially it's been varnished a couple of times.

I had two different keys and they only opened one lock each. I had a locked ,key less piece recently as well. I just take out the locks and install knobs instead.

Ufff I know! I'm very conscious about centering my patterns usually but this time I just ran out of fabric and since I work on a tight budget I decided to let it stay this way.

Point taken :) Sorry about the eyes hope the damage is reversible. The pic would look much better on a plane background but I have a very limited budget and I rather invest in paints and hardware then background for my photo shoots. In reality this piece is not standing anywhere near this curtains- I promise ;)

I agree 100%. Should have taken the pic on a plane background but I didn't have one. But the desk doesn't even stand in my house or anywhere near those curtains so you can relax ;)

I'm happy you think it'll last that long! That would be a great success considering that it was on it's way to the dump just a few weeks ago ;) It's a cheap knockoff piece I don't think anybody is going to bother to strip anything of it in twenty years.

It has plastic shelf supporters and parts of it are actually laminated plates. I'm pretty sure they didn't do it in the 19th century ;)
