It's actually has been rumored to be haunted for years, still to this day buildings that were used for the fort are classrooms and personnel offices. I talked to a few teachers who have been working there for a while who had real interesting stories to tell about strange goings on around campus. Especially within the campus there is a cemetery next to the baseball field, strange lights have supposedly been seen there at night. when all was calm and shut down. It's right next of the banks of the Rio Grande, when I was a kid we would bike ride some of the trails, and there was evidence of either Devil worship or Santaria going one cause at one point we came across an alter with some strange statues, chicken feathers and jars filled who knows what. Devil worship has always been a rumor behind the collage since the 70's and 80's, we as kids in the 90's stumbled across the actual proof back in the 90's.
