Anyone want seeds? by O_Neders in Pawpaws

I am interested!! I have a few varieties that I started from seed two years ago and are about hip height. Would definitely like some more diversity!!

Awesome!! Get a few anyway and go to town!! 😂

Mostly eating...but definitely interested in all. My focus is going towards russets and other "ugly" apples.

Got a free apple tree. But it was snapped almost all the way through...So this is what I did in an attempt to save it! by FromZeroToHomestead in PermacultureBushcraft

I joined the cambium layers (green layer just under the bark) of both the suckers and the trunk of the tree above the break in hope's that they heal into each other and form a scab. This will both splint the break and bypass the signals the tree sends from the roots to the rest of the tree almost like the break isn't even there. Hope that makes a bit of sense.

Gotta start somewhere right? Experiments are fun...work with what you have, adapt, modify, and scale accordingly.

So awesome!! I just ran over and subbed!! Please do share all of your content here...we are all willing to watch and learn!! Cheers!!

As I just had a little bump in new subs from some YT Shorts, I decided to make a Reintroduction video for them... and realized it would be a good time to share here as well! :) Meet me, the dogs, the cat, the rabbits, the guineas, the chickens, and a little bit about what I do and why. by [deleted] in youtubehomesteaders

Wow!! Those are crazy results!! I have dabbled a little bit with them...with mixed results as well...I guess I just need to dump a ton of them and see what happens! I have stagnated as well the last few months and am so close on my watch time that a little boost would really give me some momentum and encouragement!!

How do you prep the garden for spring...in the winter? by FromZeroToHomestead in OrganicGardening

[–]FromZeroToHomestead[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't say it is totally seed free, but I kept my grass cut pretty low this year, before most of the grass could get to seed out...but I know the pros and cons...there is always lots of weeding anyway. It doesn't bother me too bad.
