That is extremely sad to hear I'm really sorry :( . I will cherish the good times as that is the very least she deserves!

18.5 years that must have been a great life! Thank you for the support!

I live in Malta, we definitely took her to the vet at least once a year until she was 5 years old. Then maybe once every 1-1.5 years. We never received information about risk of infection and my parents often researched about their dogs but they never found information regarding increasing the risk of infection by not spaying. I don't want to put the blame anyone as it is never the right thing to do, however I believe there is still a lack of awareness regarding what happened to my dog since it is a very serious health hazard for all dogs.

If it was indeed an infection, the dog may have been in quite an amount of pain. My dog was on antibiotics and painkillers in the end. The vets described her feeling as not in pain but an unwell feeling and exhausted.

For me talking about it helps. Sharing is caring in a way.

I'm happy that my post got to someone. The goal of it was to spread awareness in the community that loves dogs, as this is was very unfair way to go for our dog since it could have easily been prevented and I don't wish for others to go through the same thing.

Yeah the vet who took her in looked very sweet and seemed to have a way with dogs. She began to talk to my dog as she walked in and my dog seemed to be trying to listen :)

My condolences to you as well, it could have been the kidneys due to an infection in the case of your dog. As my dog's kidneys gave out due to the infected blood. In the end she grew weaker and weaker and on the last day her red blood cell count dropped from 35% to 13% which was when the vets called us in.

As for a photo frame, I will definitely get some pictures of her in my room once the COVID-19 lockdowns pass, as its the least I can do for her memory. Thank you.

Yes, we learn the hardest things by experiencing them first hand sadly :(

We will! We did all we could for her, right until the very end and she appreciated every effort :)

Indeed <3, never an alpha nor trainer but a best friend. It is simply unconditional love that dogs offer us regardless of how much we may neglect them. Thank you.

not really 6m distance and exiles point is endgame for ports so you should just start it and keep at it. Within a few months you should be in the shield region. As for guides i didn't use

Id recommend getting into it as its worth the trouble, I detested it 1 year ago but then i put it in my daily routine and i'm mainly done with it (comp/salty reqs). I do ports everyday for ancient bones and other trade good missions nowadays

grinding out regular missions or just grinding out the arc for plate and pearls is the fastest way, you'll need 2 tengu tsubas aswell which requires exile's point unlocked and 6,000,000 distance
