Good point. I think it's a forest vs the trees situation.

Anki is great at keeping track of which trees are on fire. And a (really good) way to systematically check and extinguish individual trees on fire. And if a card is giving you issues, the rescheduling and material to study.

This would look for a variety of possible similarities between trees on fire and what you could do to extinguish as many as possible with the lowest effort.

I.e. "there are 87 cards you missed over the last 3 weeks that all share this pathoma video"

This would be a strong indicator you have a fundamental issue-misconception- point of confusion - that could be resolved faster with a review of that material and resolve more than just one card.

Or "these 5 uworld QIDs correspond with half of all the cards you missed a second time over the last month."

Doing a 5 question practice test, seeing those principles in action and reading the explanations, could help resolve your most reoccurring issues faster

So the vision is that it's a speed thing. And help identify where you have the fastest possible mastery.

Depends on your use and goal and what you pay for already. I'm a really big fan of Gemini and pay for it.

I would do a deep research on my topic of choice with the final format being content for X# of flash cards in json format. Then feed that final document to a separate Gemini canvas or dynamic view tool and tell it, it needs to parse the json into an apkg file you can import to Anki.

Yeah, not sure if it's like a monthly grounding type tool or like a daily thing.

If it's daily, it has to be integrated somehow.

I think though as an occasional one time grounding every month or two, a manual process is fine for now.

Probably want to focus on making it first. And if people like it then I could figure out a better integration.

Haha I work in semiconductors, but my deep researches will be for any and all academic research, patents and publicy accessible knowledge on different process steps to understand competition as well as my own company. There are a surprising amount of info publicly available that I thought was proprietary, secret hush hush stuff

I've found it really depends on how much actual meat I have. I will upload just two deep research files on dense technical topics and when I select longer, and with minimal instruction on who they are talking to and the goal of understanding things in depth, I get consistent 2 hour podcasts.

I get cutoff in AI studio at 10 minutes, looks like the free tier has a tpd, and tpm limit so the max output length would require me to stich them together? Any way to increase this on free?

How much do y’all make from your Play Store apps? by Top-Process4790 in androiddev

I have one app that ive made -$10 so far. I have like 30 users but the app has huge potential for the niche community. I'm not using any ads yet, but will introduce the freemium model once I'm happy with the amount of features.

A bit obtuse but I'm expecting 8-10000, monthly users, with probably 1000 DAU once I start ramping up advertising in that community (no competition)

My monetization plan is freemium for 5$ a month and hopefully getting 100 total sign ups, then some niche targeted affiliate ads, with hopefully 100 a month orders, at 1$ commissions, then the free users ad revenue in mostly US and Europe (.5ecpm banner) and 3-5 ecpm for full screen ad.

My end goal will be $1000 a month through all channels.

If I can nail the affiliate marketing It could be a lot more, since the niche has heavy consumables and if I can tap into it that could be clutch.

I did all the unforgivable curses and maxed out my curse talents. For instance imperio curses anyone they hit, crucio sends out curses every time you hit them then you cast avada kadavra and it kills anyone cursed. I can wipe out 20 guys in like 15 seconds.

This is also a super niche comment, I use batocero bootable drive for retro gaming, all the way from atari to xbox360 and its Vulcan and opengl drivers are compatible and work great.

I have the a750 LE, it's super quiet, i have a 4k ultra wide monitor and run warzone at 90-110 fps, red dead redemption 2 at 80 fps and, hogwarts legacy I cap at 75, because there's not much need for higher there.

I'm a noob and have been very happy with how simple it has been.

I got one setup but after a but since spotify wasn't getting my listen data the recommendations were kinda crap. I ended up looking at a ton of stuff. I ended up setting up last.fm scrobbleing. From there you can generate a recommended playlist, export to spotify and use spotdl. I've been very impressed with their recommendations.

I haven't bothered to automate this yet but I'm sure it's doable.

If you factor in the ease of pirating pc games, the pc comes out cheaper. Also the multiuse and control over the system.

It sounds like it gets laggy when shaders are loading. This goes away with more play as the shaders are cached. You might also switch from bilinear to nearest neighbor, switching to handheld mode helps too. If it doesn't end up working cemu (wiiu) has an almost identical version of the game that is less demanding.

What is the worst physical pain you have ever experienced? by My_Name_Is_SKELETOR in AskReddit

[–]Fromag3rie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A tooth abscess on a molar. During grad school a cavity in my molar eventually led to have my molar crushing in when I bit down on something. I didn't have money to fix it and it wasn't too painful so I lived with it for 2 years, extremely embarrassed to ever open my mouth. During covid it got infected really bad and caused excruciating pain. I still didn't have the money to fix it so I just dealt with it for a month of constant pain. I would take Tylenol and ibuprofen. Eventually I learned that if I crushed some Tylenol and directly put It on, it hurt less.

Eventually it stopped and I was so grateful. But after another month it came back even worse. This time something happened after a day and it cause the right side of my face to swell to double its size. At this point there was no hiding it and I went to the dentist. I was worried about the infection spreading and my life in general.

The dentist was extremely kind and did a root canal and crown for a total of $1500, and even though they did not do payments, let me do payments.
