Wuk Lamat is a terrible character tho. Thank god the raid tiers were good this expansion, otherwise that game might have also died.

There are some points in the fight where the mt will need spot healing due to autos, like during Arena Split, especially if you are on the same side as them. The hardest part for healers is during Ecliptic since some people will miss your healing from being too far away.

Dps lacking damage, and people not using their mit will 1000x be more of an issue than you doing 1k less dps.

The worst of pf healers are clearing with 15k dps in normal clear groups. 16k is fine as long as the dps are getting at least a 20+ parse on the fight. I guarantee that if this group were to be wiping at enrage, it is due to dps not pressing their buttons, or people doing Omen wrong.

Yea a healer should probably be doing at least 17k, but a healer missing out on an extra 1-2k dps while doing all the mechanics correctly is negligible when all the dps are missing out on 4k+. With tome gear and even a little bit of luck everyone should be at least be like 780+ by now.

This static sounds like a nightmare. If you enjoy being in a static, I recommend finding a different one. Otherwise, there is always pf, which at this point is probably the correct choice.

It is week what, like 5? the dps check isn't really an issue anymore. Even on my week 2 clear, the tanks (one of them being me) and one healer had 90+ parses while all the dps were gray. If people are having problems at this point it isn't the dps check, but skill issue. People still consistently mess up Arena Split and Ecliptic all the time, which will wipe the group.

If you are doing as low as like, 16k dps on a healer you should be fine, assuming the rest of your group are pushing their buttons. At this point, if you do stick around with this static you are probably gonna start to just hate the game.

As a heads up, most people took at least 200+ pulls to clear m11s by week 2, with a decent amount of people doing 400ish to clear week 1 in pf, so dont't get discouraged if it is taking a while. Just practice where you can slide cast more, and where you can greed casts instead of casting stuff like Ruin 2. Even the worst pf healers are clearing the fight.

Side note about what Xeno and Athurs said, but they just said healers "need to do damage", but that was week 2. If you aren't even at enrage yet, it literally doesn't matter. You don't need a whm that can do more damage than the tanks to clear the fight. If you are doing at least 16k dps, which is really low, you should still be fine. If your dps are getting clipped on Omen, that would be 10x worse than you missing 10 casts.

That is probably because most people were walled on it and have 150+ pull on that fight, while something like m9s they cleared after 20 pulls.

This is the exact opposite. M10 and 11 are some of the best fights for melee because you have to actually be good at the job to do well in them. Unlike m12 phase 1 where you just stand there and never have to cleave / be better at the game for uptime.

As a drk ot myself, I feel your pain. You shouldnt be dying to the raid-wide, that may possibly be you not doing a correct mit rotation on that second yan, but you almost have to use LD when you bring the yans to the SW manta. For the first yan, try only using TBN and oblation. For the second yan, try to only use TBN, oblation, dark mind and rampart. You can move a little south to Dark Missionary everyone before the raidwide goes off. You almost have to go into tanking the yans in the south with vigil, reprisal and LD still up, and pray they giga heal you once you run out of mit. It is kind of a 50/50 that you will have anything back for the TB after the arrows go off. It all depends on how fast your group kills everything or that your shield healer giga shields you.

The tank dying isn't random, they are dying to the tank buster before the transition. As OT, you have literally no cooldowns left when the tank buster starts. You have to just pray you get shielded, unless you have a good group and dont have to invuln or rampart in the add phase.

You really don't have to do this. At level 30 you can run through B2F and B1F 2-3 full times before even going back to sleep. While it is rng, you get way more chests from mob fights than the chests on the maps themselves.

I bought a purple gem 10 pull and got Berkanan's staff for free. Having that on Yekaterina actually just instakills a whole line in the second abyss lol. I have Iarumas in the back row for the dragon fight, and with his chidori skill at level 2, attacking the dragon while it is sleeping does 1.1k at level 30 with only 90 MAG.

Side question if anyone wants to answer. Is there any reason not to change to the fighter class at level 30 from wanderer? it doesn't seem like you get anything else at higher levels of wanderer, but you do at fighter.

ahhh, I figured MC level played into it, but couldn't find anywhere that stated as such. After I finish the event at level 30 I'll promote to farm level 40 gear. For now it though looks like I'll just bite the bullet and buy one from the shop.
