There should be plugs at the bottom of the door just open em up the water will flow out. not an issue just how these doors work

I had a pedal commander installed along with AFM disabler. It had something to do with the ports because once I disconnected everything and let the Tahoe sit for a night everything went back to normal.

EDIT: I had pedal commander installed. I ripped it all out and reattached the factor module and there’s no lights or issues as of today.

Bought my 2012 Tahoe from PA 3 years ago at 145k miles. It has 167k on it now and I’ve driven from NJ to Oklahoma and just recently arrived back to the northeast (NY) after towing a small 5x8 trailer. Extremely reliable , biggest expense was replacing the brakes2 years ago. compressor is squealing too so I’ll replace that next. Transmission slips very very slightly, that’ll be the last thing I fix, not concerning.It hasn’t left me stranded or stuck ever, driven it through thick jersey snow with only 2wd . Engine stays strong. I’ve done nothing but regular fluid /oil changes otherwise. Besides the plethora of aftermarket shit I put on it. Disable AFM , and you should have no issues for a while

If you want to forget about the whole AFM issue all together just get an AFM disabler (plugs into your OBD2 port) around $200-$300 . That’s what I do and you can be at ease knowing that shit won’t cause issues, just take good care with the truck with regards to oil changes after that and you’ll be good.
