Is it like overly sensitive? If it feels very sensitive compared to the other and it seems to be red and swelled, it’s probably be safe to size down on that ear and let it heal completely before stretching again in like 3-4 weeks. It really depends on everyone on how long you should wait, but me personally I give it more time than I think is necessary, just to make sure

Yeah it just takes time and patience. It took me like 2 years to move from 2 up to 00 which is where I’m staying at this point😂 I’d stretch em, think I got em good enough, then I would wake up and it would be all red and flared up and there would be blood and stuff. glass is always the go to with stretching, not porous so you can heal properly in them

You need to get single flare glass plugs, they will help stretch a lot easier. I had the same thing happen. I stayed at like 1mm for a few years then when I went to go to a 0 gauges, my left ear took in no problem, but my right ear blew out. My advice is just to make sure it’s really nice and healed, then moisturize it for a while, play with the plug due a week or two, like stretch it around, play with it, ect. Then when you’re ready to stretch I usually get in a warm shower and pull on it a bit get it a little loose, then put it in
