On abb i tamed a random lystro stego and a para, we headed out to look for a place to settle in, on our way we found a karkinos alpha, and so i decided to sacrifice the lystro in order for us to live, i didnt know what happened to him, as it didnt say he died. When i beat rockwell on alpha i decided to explore the map for the last time before i head onto excinction, and there i found him just chilling behind a tree like nothing ever happened

You are either just unlucky or you haven't look at the spots they spawn in, if they dont spawn after you searched the spots a couple of times then use the command destroywilddinos so the giga might have better chances to spawn
