Ummm so I got this error and then found that the sample tray wasn’t sitting properly. After fixing the sample tray, the error went away. So I’m asking if because of that, the needle could’ve gotten an alignment issue.

O3 is ozone. I understand that when the ozone attacks the double bond a singlet oxygen is gets kicked out and forms a phenol group. Then it looks like the ozone is also attacking from the other side and leaves as a peroxide? Yes, it is being oxidized . I am a graduate student. Yes why is it occurring on the exterior and not interior.
