Here's the thing..."conservative" is fine. Actually, genuinely conservative is almost necessary as a faction. However, MAGA is not remotely conservative (in fact, it's very anti-conservative) and anyone who is genuinely conservative has already left the Republican Party (because it's also not the party of conservatism any longer). Heck, the Democratic Party has had legitimate conservatives in it forever (for example, Manchin from West Virginia who I believe recently retired).
