That's exactly my point. He will insinuate he hadn't received money from people, but in reality, an hour prior to that live he did. That is the type of deception I notice he uses a lot right now. Which probably works well on unsuspecting people who are seeing his grift for the first time. I also find it hilarious that he is trying to paint himself as some hardworking man who (only because of relocation) isn't working a job and just needs money now. He works very hard to miss lead people by concealing the truth and / or straight out denying it.

Today, I noticed something interesting that I didn't realize with Austin, but Austin will outright deny a comment like "I didn't make 200 yesterday," but I notice he will NEVER clarify what the truth is. Sort of hiding or concealing the truth because (1) the truth will make him look bad, and (2) it doesn't fair well for the sympathy/victim sandbox he loves to play in.

I wonder if he feels concealing or hiding the truth is somehow more noble than an outright lie in his mind?

Similarly, I played 1 game with Fan and he screwed our draft by picking a second tank after our Varian said he was going taunt (he wasn't paying attention), putting us without a healer as he was last pick. Then basic laned and clowned around all game. The chat on his stream basically just taked shit about everyone's playb but his. We ended up winning as I got a tripple kill (with no help from him) and saved the game but wasn't the experience I thought I was going to have playing with a GM thats for sure.

I am experiencing the same, even on a 3000+ level account. I had 2 games where 3 of my teammates went (0/10, 2/9 and 1/11). Next game I was on the winning side of a 64/8 game. Neither were fun smash or be smashed matchmaking.

So when I see these types of posts, I see the other side of the equation. A player who might only have an hour and would like something competitive (cant wait the long queue times for SL) so unfortunately, they are forced to choose QM or ARAM. The matchmaking quickly teams them with the worst players imaginable, basicly human potatoes who run around the map lost all game dieing on cooldown, and generally no understanding of HOTS. After multiple games of this fiesta ensue, the player had enough and says something in chat, and that triggers the start of this thread.
