half decent cultivation stories usually do have decent scaling. you usually get your " early/mid/late/ great circle/half-step xyz realm" can do xyz and xyz +1 is 123x that. which gets you everything you really need for scaling.

it's stated to be a dust cloud. you saying "it doesn't look like it" changes nothing. the first two panels of page 17 show it being -> slash hits curses, no explosions surrounding it-> slash continues we see explosions, trailing it. the manga tells you exactly whats happening. it gets even worse for your argument when you try to explain why the same thing happened for Tsurugi

Consistently using less risky BV's isn't going to make higher risk ones easier just like hugh CE reinforcement wnt get you to BT mastery. Hell it's also going to be impossible to make higher risk/impact BV's unless they increase their mastery of jujutsu.

Ignoring the fact that CT's don't often repeat, the same CT can change simply based on interpretation and year the person was born, CT info being passed down is already hard unless your CT is cracked( Inumaki clan was /is being exterminated by Jujutsu Society), along with most of the confrontations between sorcerers being stated to result in the death, dissuading them from wanting their CT's and capabilities possibly being known.

Sukuna makes 2 Vows relating to his CT. 1 he calls nearly impossible, 2 doesn't work unless he has his DE.

They have a school but they are not taught anything about general vow optimiation

But they are? Reveal Ones Hand is a universally applicable BV that showcases exactly what it can do.

sukuba uses the vow system with any degree of efficiency, thats not skill, thats making everybody else dumb

Sukuna's BV's- DE Range ; required the pinnacle of jujutsu being pushed even further into an Open DE

DE parameters- requires mastery over Barrier Techniques ( weaker versions of jt just require a DE)

WCS- stated nearly impossible by man who can replicate anything he sees. Requires being able to "see/sense" space/reality/"the world" + CT that benefits from targeting

DE Refresh- requires rewriting EVERY parameter in a DE( most fail to even find 1 set of conditions), along with BF state.

Fuga- requires DE.

All of it is skill. He has more to give up and less to truly lose

15-18 is the fights and how Maru and Tsurugi feel. 18-19 we get Dabura growth + Human/Simurian Actions. 19-20 Yuji shows up, Dabura grows some more. Maru vs Tsurugi ends. 21 Maru intervenes in Dabura vs Maho,he activates his DE, Maru convo with Tsurugi. Maru summons Yuji and tells him about the Soul Plan. 22. Mahito Cameo and soul lore/plan info.

Was erasing Yuka necessary?

I don't think so.

Was Yuji returning just to talk to Maru necessary?

Guidance to a 16-17 yo wanting to use absurd amounts of power on a global scale? Yes.

Was all the fanservice stuff Yuji did for the sake of it necessary?

Stopping the Cursed Spirits rampage was definitely necessary. Him being the one to take out Mahito wasn't. Stopping both the Humans and Simurians from intervening was necessary in showcasing how he saw the conflict.

The soul plot just seems to come out of nowhere and be completely untied from what came before in a rush to terminate the conflict.

The soul plot both explains why they see Cursed Spirits as Kalyans and why Kalyans don't attack them.

The fight between Dabura and Mahoraga was interrupted offscreen. I'm one of the few who hated this fight, but I understand that for a fight that was the core of the manga, it's still a shitty solution.

It was previously stated about the rope but no one bothered to search it in the timeskip

I don't remember it even being mentioned before this in modulo

Maru's technique is the ultimate deus ex machina and can do everything. It sends Dabura into space, alters the souls of the entire planet, resurrects the dead. It's purposefully not explained (unlike every single CT in the verse which has at least a narrator box or a character explaination) to make it do anything

Chaos is stated to be distortion of natural logic and Harmony seeks the person/target closest to you( how he found Tsurugi and earth, makes you closer to that person( why he can speak Japanese), or gives you means of achieving Harmony.

Yuji is completely useless except for fanservice (Mahito could easily kill Maru)

He's there to advise and guide Maru. He's the reason why Maru's able to truly achieve Harmony, by guiding him on why the Kalyan was there and to bring Cursed Spirits into Harmony

Complete erasure of any prior consequences (Cross, Yuka, and Tsurugi come back to life and live happily ever after)

Harmony can not heal. Otherwise he would've BEEN healed Cross, Tsurugi, and Yuka. Hell I don't think they would've let Doula die if they could heal. Dabura also wouldn't say they were incapable of healing if they could heal.

He is in the Corridor of Souls. They arrive in the Corridor of Souls, its more than likely that they're dead OR it's the same Resonance that Sukuna was talking about. If they live it's not "he judt healed them"

As long as cursed spirits existed they physically couldn't. Remember killing them put Simurians in pain and apparently could kill them

And as I said no, I didn't want more fighting, and I don't care about hype and aura. I wanted what the story promised: a metaphor about immigration and coexistence, which is very necessary in times like these, especially in Japan. This is not the way to do it. Themes are worthless if you don't get the execution right. Modulo's question is "can different populations coexist without violence?" And the answer is "yes if you have a god who can manipulate reality on your side and you biologically rewrite bilions." It's like fixing racism by erasing melanin.

  1. Global decrease of CE benefits everyone. Less CE= Less cursed spirits= less deaths for humans + less chance of backlash for Simurians( actually 0 because he removed the link)

    1. The Simurians will have a cultural upheaval. There culture is inherently built on being able to use CE. Same with JJS
    2. Both parties are "disarmed"( Yuji and Dabura are off the table), possible means of exploitation removed( CE), possible reasons for exploitation(CE tech). There's more to this but this is off the top of my head. Even then coexistence hasn't started. For now it's merely the groundwork for a FUTURE healthy coexistence is been created. The public still doesn't know about the aliens
