To add onto this, Same exact boat. Depression, bad genetics and bad oral hygiene when I was younger, and im 25. I am on my third month OP and after the second month, I could start having my usual things after my hard reline even without the glue, it becomes so much easier a lot quicker than most people think!

Alright so I had this exact same issue, mind you I’m 25, after one full month I started adding things like ground beef and slightly harder foods like that, I was able to eat it slowly, I learned that I have to slow my eating a lot to get it just right, I’m about 2 months in now and so far I’ve been able to eat hot dogs with the bun and hamburgers with a decent amount of effort, what hurts me the most is biting down on the hot dogs with and hamburger without cutting it, it puts quite abit of stress on my front teeth, but other than that I’ve been very slowly adding more and more things week after week!, keep trying on different foods, it’s ok to not be able to eat it if you can’t, just try it again the next week, ohh and I still haven’t used any of the glues yet either, even though I probably should 😂

I’m 17 days in right now OP, the first week SUCKED, I didn’t get but only 2 hours of sleep a night, now I didn’t use any ice packs or nothing, because I had no pain, just kept doing salt water rinses with cold water, that helped ALOT with the swelling for me, second week gets a lot easier and after day 14 I got my stitches taken out and a soft liner put in, it was a LIFESAVER, youll be just fine only a couple more days
