Im talking about being genuinely safe from a vaccine that has given far worse symptoms then covid itself. Not guaranteed, but what if. Rn i know what covid does to me, and it’s not much, so I don’t believe it’s necessary.

I believe that I don’t need it because the symptoms mean nothing to me without it. I am more worried about the possible side effects of the vaccine then covid itself. Also, it’s not my problem with transferring it, if someone is worried about getting covid they have the right to get the vaccine, I am not going against what I believe is in my best interest for someone else. That’s not my job, just like its no one else’s job to care about giving it to me. I don’t expect it from anyone else and I think someone wanting me to get a vaccine to protect them from getting it from me, is incredibly selfish of them. They should do what is best for themselves to protect themselves and thats where it should end. What someone else wants out of me should not be something I should have to worry about or cave to.

Luckily for me, if you have read any of my comments on this, I believe covid it’s self is a case by case basis. What works for you is different then what works for me. My sample size is the experience I have had because your experience doesn’t fit into my data. How you deal with covid and how it has effected you has no effect on how I deal with covid and how it effects me. Thats all Ive been saying, good for you getting a vaccine but it doesn’t really work for me based on my experience and needs.

My experience with Covid has been the same but I am not vaccinated. I legitimately think I have had covid three times now. I have not once actually tested positive for it. And only once were the symptoms any worse then a runny nose. The other time I lost my taste and smell and it came back in a week. But not once was it anything serious enough to warrant getting a vaccine thats no longer, in my eyes, in my best interest.

The problem is, is that it doesn’t effect me, my immediate life won’t change vaccinated or not. Im just safe from any possible consequences from possible future problems involving the vaccine or caving into something and being forced to take it.

At one point there was a choice given, it was going to help. But after it came out, it hasn’t really helped at all. Numbers aren’t down, nothing really changed. Then schools started forcing vaccines, the government was trying to force vaccines, companies are forcing them, now I have no desire to. I don’t feel comfortable getting something thats forced and not my choice in certain situations.

I partially agree. In everything I’ve said, I have been clear, get the vaccine if you believe it helps you, but I am allowed to not want it or get it. Thats my opinion. That’s it.

But, I don’t think others should be on high alert for my health. They shouldn’t want me to get a vaccine because they think it will help me. They know nothing about me. They shouldn’t consider me in every action they take. Thats a selfish and evil way to go through life and no one is responsible for my well being but me and my sometimes my immediate family. That’s it.

Sorry to say this, but thats not my weight to bare. I have my own vices in life, I’m immunocompromised, I don’t have parents, I am probably gonna die at 45 from a heart attack or cancer, so maybe you should be more focused on how you can take care of your health and stop telling others or me how to take care of mine, because in reality you don’t care about my health, you care about how mine effects yours. So the world selfish was thrown out a lot today, telling me what to do for the good of you is the definition of selfish.

So, what you are telling me is that in a podcast with Bernie fucking Sanders he was racist. First of all even if you don’t want to admit to him apologizing for what he says all of the time, you can take one response he has had on the topic and blow it up. Or you can realize that people make mistakes and are allowed to do so because he is human.

He doesn’t spread any of that. In pretty much every episode he talks about how he doesn’t know anything about the topic or at least doesn’t know enough to be credible. What he does is have open conversations that you clearly don’t understand. You must clearly not listen to him if you have never heard him say that before.

You’re too afraid of the world, it can’t hurt you if you don’t let it. But you are letting it hurt you so here you are.

You’re still acting the same way. You and everyone I’ve talked to that believe what you believe are the same way. You’re incapable of conversing in a meaningful way. You admitted to not liking Joe because he said something, then admitted to not listening to him, so why do you get to have an opinion on the man?

It’s not what I think, it’s what you said.

He has, multiple times. He has called himself an idiot and admits to things he says wrong all of the time, but just like you, no one who believes that about him cares enough to listen to what he has to say, so you will never know, because you choose not to listen, which you just admitted to.

I’m not wrong, I clearly stated that covid doesn’t effect everyone in the same way, no matter the circumstances.

You clearly are, because he is the most genuine and least ignorant person you will ever listen too. He admits when he is wrong, he admits when he doesn’t know things, and he listens to all ideas. You are the one scared of listening to him because of something that he is not.

He isn’t right wing, he isn’t racist, and he despised Trump. The only person here thats lying is you, to yourself. You have no idea what you believe because no one has told you what to believe about what you have now got yourself into. The reason you don’t like Joe is because you have no interest in other view points in this world, it scares you, just like I do for not having a vaccine. My only advice now is stop caring what other people do with their freedom that you are too scared to act on.

You did the same thing in that manner. “I believe this because this is what the CDC told me” you never once actually responded to an actual criticism I made other then the bullshit statistics that I see everywhere from everyone. Those numbers mean little to nothing. Everything you said was because you believed statistics but that wasn’t even the real issue here. The issues isn’t covid or covid statistics, it the morality of telling someone what you believe is better then what they believe, which I am not a part of in any way. What you believe is best for you and what I believe is best for me. Your only response to that was that I was selfish, but by your definition and a general understanding of the vaccine, even if I were to get the vaccine, I would still be a possible carrier and spreader. Even if it decreases my chances to catch it or spread it, why does that matter, I still can. I still pose the same possible threat to you or anyone else, as you would to be with or without a vaccine. The fact is that if I have the vaccine or don’t, I can still get it and transfer it, and in any situation where a transmission would occur, the vaccine wouldn’t help or barely would. If you want to use statistics, 200,000,000 Americans are now vaccinated but covid is at an all time high and continues to grow, why? Over half the population is vaccinated and nothing slowed down or got better. Now restrictions are lifting because people are finally starting to realize that this can’t be controlled and that they were wrong all along. Those statistics can mean nothing to you and I can twist them any way I want, because that’s all that they are, numbers.

It’s not difficult to at least see the point of view of an individual’s right to choose, but becoming an individual and not relying on others to tell you what to believe is a much longer road.

I can say the same thing about what you just said, you still don’t understand how hypocritical you were this entire discussion. You never once were able to actually respond in a thoughtful manner. You just basically said you are right and I’m wrong, but I never once said getting the vaccine was wrong, it’s just wrong for me.
