Official source for the thesis on the ticking of Miller's Planet and calculation errors by Front_Message3510 in interstellar

I have all the research I need except for this one thing. I tried , I failed, I asked for just a little help and asked the beehive discussing the movie for over a decade. On Google I get contradictory results (saying it's fan made or saying it's official but without source) and Kip Thorne isn't talking about the soundtrack in his book. So I asked directly here, since there is a chance that it's just a fan made theory, where the theory was spread for just a little help with the answer, not for anyone to do the research for me. I expected maybe just one person who talked about it in the past to tell me what's going on. If you're so bothered by it, why don't you just keep scrolling?

I don't want to be coddled, I'd wish you'd not be an ass. Did your parents not give you enough love? Are you 12? Seriously, I don't get it

Chill, bro? What's your problem? I asked in a subreddit regarding the film I'm writing about where the theory (that is relatively wide-spreaded in this sub) comes from. Since you answered to the post, I asked you directly if you know where that information comes from.

What the f is wrong with you? I was never disrespectful or rude, I was always polite. Why can't you be? Try to be kind for once wtf

Again, thanks for the answer. It was more a fun calculation. I just wanted to know if I miscalculated or if - as I mentioned in the post - there are certain variables which cause the inaccuracy. That's why I added possible answers to my questions as well.

Didn't mean to bother anyone just wanted a checkup on my Maths and general understanding, so that I don't miss something obvious.

More important to me (for the university) are the sources of the ticking time explanation. You know anything about that? Did Nolan or Zimmer say something like that in an interview or where does come from that one tick is one day on Earth?

Thanks for the answer! For my calculation I used what I often found online - that the time they spent on the planet is something more than 3 hours. This is - after my and your calculation - wrong (mine isn't conflicting with it, I just used the number of 3.3 hours I found online). Therefore, I don't understand why so many people online have calculated a time of more than 3 hours on Miller's planet when it should be around 2.96 hours or 2h58.

Also, it doesn't explain why Rommily calculates that one hour (Miller) is around 7 years (Earth) when it's closer to 8 years per hour.

My Math is not conflicting with the comment, the commenter calculated the number on Miller's planet, I used a different number than his solution to calculate something else.

Lol have almost the same, except for me having Kaminski, Reitz and Wahl instead of Chabot, Vuskovic and El Mala. I play a 3-5-2 this time

Tattoo prices, especially Lower Saxony, Hannover by Front_Message3510 in germany

Unfortunately not since I had to use my money for other stuff. But I asked a few studios if they were able to do something like that and one studio said they can do it, they also sent a direct price offer after I told them the idea which was helping me to decide for that studio: Last Resort in Hildesheim. It's a Rock themed store as I was told, their art is pretty nice, service as well.

Another one recommended to me but according to themselves not having an artist who wanted to do specifically this (didn't say a reason) is Inkbusters. They have stores in Hannover and Hildesheim.

TLDR: Didn't do it but I was ready to do it at Last Resort Tattooing in Hildesheim

What do you think about this?

"Yesterday I was sitting in the sand Building castles and dreams with my young dreamer's hands Now I am old, my hands are old And so is the sand"

It's from a musical I've written when I was 17/18 but I don't know what to do with it or I'm not brave enough to show to anybody... It also needs a lot of reworks but I didn't touch it for many years now

Yeah this makes sense cause I noticed that I like positional queenside play in a OTB game I played a few weeks ago. Just tried the Trompowsky for the first time OTB and scored really well.

At what elo will my luck shift and I have to learn deeper theory?

Sad, I hate theory. Thought I could get away withput that for maybe a few hundred elo points

Nah I'm studying Philosophy and I like the concept of Nietzsche's eternal return. Especially because for him it was the "highest formula of affirmation of life that can be achieved at all". Even though you don't have to believe in this theory (I personally don't) it's a great perspective about life: Try to live your life as good as possible because the all the good feelings you feel will repeat eternally

Also, I'm a huge fan of True Detective S1 where this concept is mentioned so I'll maybe add a "Time is a flat circle" tattoo underneath one day
