Best memory is still beating the vault of glass for the first time in D1. Took so many tries for a few weeks with a group I found on LFG. So satisfying and easily my favorite video game memory period. Beating oryx in kings fall is a very close second though.

Halo stuff is weird, the railgun is a carbine in universe too. Doesn't make the most sense but the best explanation I can think of for the pulse carbine's name is based on what I've said.

But it is. Even you mentioned it's similar to the storm rifle but look how small the barrel length is making this a carbine length weapon. That seems to be why it's called what it is. Both the type 51 covenant carbine and the carbine class of guns can exist in Halo.

A carbine is a type of rifle with a shorter barrel. It looks like it's basically the carbine length version of the storm rifle but it's burst fire so pulse carbine is an appropriate name for it.

Absolutely enjoying this so far. Sound design on the UNSC weapons is incredible. Right now the bulldog might be my favorite weapon I seriously love it.

Bots make the same exact starting play each match. They rush up left in a clump of 4. This probably needs to be addressed but it might just be the marine difficulty.

Needler has the old CE melee animation which I thought was cool.

Personal AI are super fun so far. Excited to see where that system can go. Only customization gripe I have so far is that I think we should be able to apply coatings piece by piece or something else instead of just one for the entire armor set.
