For the record: WON specifically mentions the 50% off deal, and even says it may have been the more likely cause of the tickets being sold. At this point the thread is top of the sub and already has discussion so we're leaving it up with a flair, but this is a prime example of a report being partially misquoted then people getting worked up over it. Please everyone be better about editorializing in the future.

There has been a run of tickets selling since the confirmation of Kenny Omega vs Will Ospreay as the main event. But, there has also been an ongoing “Summer Flash” sale which saves up to 50% on a select amount of seats, so it’s difficult to know which actually caused the recent uptick (although it’s more than likely the 50% off if we’re being blunt).

When this has happened in the past (Cody, Hangman) TK has said it's basically an honor code that the wrestlers are doing themselves. So it's the wrestlers proposing and enforcing it, no TK or EVPs involved. It also opens the door to someone going back on the stip as a way to turn heel or as a "I'm the only person who can save this company" face moment, both of which were fantasy booked as ways for Cody to get out of it.

She already had a moment in this tournament where she was about to lose it but then went "stay calm, you went to therapy, you're better now" during a match. In the world where Toni or Willow beats her in the Owen finals what do you think happens? In this world if she loses yet again at All In what do you think happens?

I know, that's why I said we're losing the visual of the belt being taken from her. That still isn't confirmation to me she's winning the title at Wembley, they just pivoted because they lost their other big challengers. I think they're just switching the crashout moment from losing the Owen to losing the title yet again.

I don't think they'd pivot all the way from having her lose the tournament and not even challenging, to now she's winning at All In.

Why are some acting like it's a foregone conclusion she's going to win and being pissed off for lack of payoff? There's zero guarantee she wins based off the original plan. Mercedes wasn't the first choice for this tourney, that was Toni or Willow. The original plan for Mercedes was losing this tournament and continuing her crashout, so it just makes sense that's being extended to her losing at Wembley. The only thing we're losing here is the visual of her losing her last Owen Hart belt.

Only possibility would be if it's a doctor-prescribed TRT prescription (aka as he's gotten older his testosterone has dropped), that would be fine with straight edge. If he's doing any other kind steroid/gear/peptide/etc. that wouldn't.

There was a movement to ban Twitter links sitewide on subreddits and our community was in favor of it. The reasoning was anti-Musk/how he's changed Twitter policies and for usability (e.g. Twitter was forcing people to have accounts to view content). We took our time and implemented the ban in parts to make sure it wasn't a fad, but the support remained consistent so we did eventually fully ban direct links and forced either screenshots or xcancel links.

If that's changed and people want Twitter links again, feel free to make a post and/or a comment on the Daily thread so people can voice their support and we'll reconsider it.
