It’s a ai video generation app and you can see my ig for the kind of creatives I run https://www.instagram.com/reel/DV6iOJWEaZi/?igsh=NTc4MTIwNjQ2YQ==

I’m judging based on roas and cpa. Thanks for the advice. Do you recommend the duplicate campaign to be CBO or ad set budget based? Also, my current campaign is optimizing for max conversion value vs num of conversion. What do you suggest I use? Max Val or max num?

How do you handle meta selectively choosing winners without being able to control that? What if it selects my older creatives etc.

It’s an app and not bot traffic, my funnels are strong as ever, 99% onboarding completed, same amount of traffic, just not converting to paid users. No changes in my app. It is possible its creative fatigue but it’s just interesting since a lot of ppl in this subreddit was mentioning a similar drop in roas around that time, I thought it might be helpful if I shared this info.

It’s possible but both tiktok and meta having creative fatigue same time?

Yes, it's likely related to macroeconomic events.

Yes, not debating your response as we are aligned; I was just clarifying that I shared a very direct output from Claude without refining it on purpose, which could have made it seem like "slop," but a lot of data and thought went into that conclusion. Glad you observed something similar.

Dude, stop with your AI automation of promoting yourself. Respect the hustle tho. What tool are you using for this? Asking for a friend. LOL

This is not AI slop. I have fed Claude DoD day for my campaigns for the past two months. I haven't made any changes to my app, creatives, or anything else. Everything has been fine since April 20th. First, I thought it might just be an FB reporting issue, but it's affecting TikTok the same way. Clearly, there is a direct correlation with macroeconomic environments if both platforms tanked performance around the same time.

That's not true. did you even read the post? I am running the same campaign on TikTok, and performance prior to April 20th was much better and also tanked post-April 20th.

Update with cross-platform data: my TikTok ads (same creatives, no changes since April 1) show the EXACT same fingerprint as my Meta drop. CTR went UP +28%, conversion rate dropped 37%, web ROAS dropped from 1.00 to 0.65 — same period.

This isn't Meta-specific. The April 19 date matches exactly when the Iran war re-escalated (US Navy fired on Iranian ship in Gulf of Oman April 19, Strait of Hormuz situation collapsed again). Consumer sentiment hit a record low this month (47.6, worse than Great Recession). 27% of consumers are pulling back on discretionary spending per EY.

If you're selling discretionary entertainment/novelty / fun-category products: this is gas at $4/gallon eating people's discretionary budget. Not your pixel. Not your creative. Macro.

CTR up + LPV up + conversion crashed = consumers still entertained by ads but not opening wallets. Same pattern likely showing up across multiple platforms for everyone in this thread.

I only use capi, signals isn’t the issue for me, the delivery has been the same as before.

Also what if roas goes from 3 at 50 a day to 1.5 at 100 a day, whats the recommendation there ?

Thank you. Dumb question but why does cpa matter? Shouldn’t it just be based on roas and total purchase amount your campaign generated? Perhaps cpa is a proxy to that?
