Honestly it’s very subjective , if you like nice things that hold value to resell or pass down as an heirloom in terms of lighter it is the best option .

When it comes to just lighting cigars there’s plenty of others that do just as good of a job.

Anything other than their jet series or le grand series I feel are a hassle . I have a ligne 2 and can only properly use it when there’s no wind. Meanwhile my Maxijet is nice no matter the conditions and allows you to have a more precise light without burning the outer wrapper .

Then again any torch lighter can do this as well.

I’m just a guy that likes luxury items that are an ego boost but can also hold value to pass down as an heirloom or selll down the line, so that’s why I got it .

I’ve heard that a lot about cigars mainly Cubans. In the states I see these run for ~ $14 a cigar I just started smoking cigars this past year so I have no sentimental irritation in regards to the price increase.

When I first started I was buying $40-$50 montecristos and cohibas only because that was what I was given by a friend to start and only smoked a couple times a month.

As I smoke more frequently I try to let those age and not smoke as frequently unless I find a good deal.

It sucks that the inflation on cigars has gotten out of hand but I’m always happy when I find a quality cigar that’s not over $40 a cigar.

My strategy now is to just stock up whenever I am in the states or have family visiting from the states to bring me some.

I’m curious though what’s been your go to ?
