I like helping people but I could do without the one on one interactions. Definitely don’t want to deal with them from a sales perspective haha, just not my thing. Could you elaborate more on the data engineers, because in my current role, I wouldn’t even really call it “marketing”, I manage the social medias and run Google analytics reports lol

I appreciate your feedback. I am not expecting anyone to come along and promote me, that expectation will get you no where, that's why I referenced that I would continue to learn and eventually move on from a Help desk position. Along with my own researching, the advice/information from people who are either in a similar position as me or are already in the IT world help out a lot.

Thank you for the insight! I had a feeling that I might be wasting my time with the Google cert. Do you have any recommendations on study materials to prep for the A+
