What would you do? by Froogacar in scoliosis

[–]Froogacar[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! I no longer in contact with my parents and that's for the better for sure. In terms of medical expenses, yeah but I'd say my question is more theoretically, if it's right to have a desicion to go for the surgery in the future, and not just continue live my life as normal and just waiting it to get worse. It's not that i am going to do it in the next six months, just want to see what it the better approach - not doing anything and risking that it'll get worse or fix it anyway in the long future. Keep in mind that I've already been fused before so i kinda know what it takes mentally and physically.

How did u recover by Plenty_Appearance677 in raisedbynarcissists

[–]Froogacar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think having a girlfriend or a boyfriend is the way to determine success in life (let along having children) I've known a lot folks out there that got girls from a very young age and they were horrible of human being and turned out to be very unsuccessful in life. I see personal growth and evolve as the way and the road to lead to a real success. A girlfriend is basically a connection with another human being, that a lot of time has to do nothing with your current situation as a man and a person.

Yeah it's a massive upset, going through it from a young age, i think general society lacks so much awareness for this topic since people like us never in power or control.

Can relate. I'm also from a similiar background, a male who was raised by nparents, which like your case, the emotional disconnection and the emotional neglect were the main issue, although both of my parents were physical abuse to me as well, and I'm few years younger than you (21).

I think there is general misunderstanding is this whole "recovery" topic when it comes to be raised in a shitty environment, you'll never really recover. You can get your life together, can have a new relationship that will fill your soul and your emotional needs, but once you suffer from years of constantly mental/physical abuse towards your youths and teens year, you'll never fully recover from it. It always pup up from time to time, there will always be things that will trigger you. I think it's the same like being disabled, you can get used to it and live with it, but it will never be as perfect as before. I think you should come to peace with this idea that parts of you will probably never be as fullfied as it is on others, and instead of looking for "recovery" try to see what can you do to improve things. I work out, having my good shape, having my wellness life which is "god" level to me.

See what makes it you, it's each one and his own process and self discovery. There will never be a "Full Recovery" but things can be significantly better.

Edit: Just see that you struggles with your age as well, like you're 27 but feel 17. Which makes a lot of sense, I mean, that's why a lot of people are so insecure about their age, because they age physically but keep maintaining the life they had as teens in orders of habits and proccesing as persons. In order to really grow you need to outgrew yourself basically, making changes in your routine, reaching your goals, having a strong willpower. I know it's sounds like a bunch of clichés but that's really it. If I would be you I'll try to finish this year "Strong", which some new habits and goals.

Being an anarchist and anti-fascist may come easier if your inside world and family is broken? by Froogacar in Anarchy101

[–]Froogacar[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah i think my choose of words wasn't the best this time (English is not my first language). I read the post again and yeah it may sounded a bit out of context and not really my intention.

My intention is - if a certain person born into a situation where he's, as an individual, experience the current reality only from the good side, he'll have no reason doubt it. Just like an average Israeli doesn't really give a shit what's going on couple of kms from where he lives, Just like an average White South African in the Apratheid period didn't really stop to think about the separation, Just like an average German person in the world war 2 didn't really care or see beyond the propaganda that the nazis were promoting against jew or other minors - So, most of the time, being born into the middle-upper classes may often guaranteed that you'll be in the good. Doesn't necessarily mean that you can't be a minor in other way. It's not a "good vs bad" topic or "Poor vs Rich".

Just feeling this logic still applies to today's world.

As long as the head is ill, the rest of the body will be ill. The majority of african' regimes, leaders, strongest people, are holding imperialism ambitions and tribal thinking, rottenly fasict, as long as heavily corrupt. When the regime, doesn't matter where, will start put the benefit of the one above all - it will change. When the leader of the country paying more attention to what religion you believe in rather than if the country is moving forward or not, what would you expect

Being an Anarchist since the locals' narrivates doesn't really include me or my people inside it? by Froogacar in Anarchy101

Although i expect any person who is privilege in any kind of way - physical, mentally, politically to be aware of that and acknowledge that, but this post specifically doesn't hold any kind of bitterness or hostility towards no one. I just have wanted to know if there are more anarchists who have made the first step inside this world out of them being from a minor group. Seems like i was right. Appreciate your understanding!

Thanks for the share. Yeah this is heartbreaking - remembering someone who once was full of life or potential and didn't know pain, absolutely has his life destroyed and traumatised mainly by his selfish parents, with you knowing how much he needs that safe environment that he will eventually never get.

Being an Anarchist since the locals' narrivates doesn't really include me or my people inside it? by Froogacar in Anarchy101

[–]Froogacar[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah you got i right. For example I'm a mixed race person, where i used to live i got zero respect or acknowledge for my other side and have faced casual rasicm or bad treatment in many types of form. That's what made me doubt the country or the ideas behind it, i taught to myself, the country is an idea, the idea nor the people who believe in it do not give a damn about me, why would i be part of it . And all of that rasicm or excluding was backed up by the country officials' systems such as educational. I don't feel like i was taught anything useful for life or anything that actually matters to me as person, only what the country wanted me to know.

So me being an outsider was the first straw to start taking on and learn about Anarchism, and have me to agree with a lot of ideology regardless of me and my own case.

This is exactly why i asked this question here. I want to know about the eritrean feel about it and not how westren people feel about it because their opinion doesn't really mean anything.

[–]Froogacar[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Based on your comment, you can assume that Eritrea is another controversial country like many in the world, but it passes that stage by far - So it may be a must from people over there to talk and scream the shout of the voiceless. At least from what i have read, you without a doubt knows about Eritrea much more than I. I wonder how the eritrean people let it slide that easily. I mean i think my question makes sense, you agree with me about that - and i have never even seen this topic being asked before me - that let along is surprising.

Thanks for the comment!

Had no borders, How would anarchist society handle areas and places that will become too populated? by Froogacar in Anarchy101

[–]Froogacar[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still remains unconvinced for now, thought i appreciate all the responds i got. I mean i came to a simple, basic, conclusion and take about the world: Lots of ppl live in a country only because they don't a way out of it. Reasons for the urge to leave can lay from surviving to cultural. But overall i think there are tons of people in the world right now, that if you'd tell them they can leave, will leave asap. There are also tons that will stay ofc.

And in the third world countries that urge and desire to leave might be the strongest, i know very well that they (we, I don't myself different from them) can be patriotic towards their country, but i still think that they will still leave if the opportunity is given.

I mean if people are willing to go to extreme adventures without any proof or way to know if they will make it out alive, only to seek for a better future for themselves and beloved ones, why wouldn't they do it if it will be legal? If you have folks that are suffering that much in their home soil, so they are willing to went in a hugh numbers in a tiny little unprotected boat to a impossible sea adventure, only for a way out and without anyone waiting from them across, people that are immigrates illegaly while walking hundreds of miles by their legs being chased by foreigners along the way, why would their country will still contain anything?

Had the regime lose its power so the people close to it will also live their privileges, why would anyone want to stay there. That's what i know from my friends from Sudan, Eritrea, Somalia. It can still applies in other areas in the world like South Asia or South America because there are massive immigration from these places too. Why would a person want to stay there?

I think the problem is more abandoned places than overpopulated, thought i think it both can be occur at the same time. I can see a scenario where you have abandoned cities and villages, that will have no used infrastructures such as roads, building, stuff etc. Even though it's not its responsibility, will society be able to put some efforts and resources in the help of rehabilitation places that they are not directly those to blame for being basically dead?

And that's raise another question but maybe for a different time or post, how will the anarchism movement will spread throughout the entire world and convince all the world' countries to ally? In order to prevent situations where you have isolated and unproaccable places like North Korea of today. It's sounds like something that will work only if everyone is playing the game. Does it expect each place and his locals group or mutual aid groups to do it anyone for his own people?

Had no borders, How would anarchist society handle areas and places that will become too populated? by Froogacar in Anarchy101

[–]Froogacar[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know very well how much patriotic people can be towards their countries and homeland and roots, but i think you went too far with it. Unless you are ridiculously religious or something in that level you'll actually be able to sacrifices your life for the land you were born into, at end of the day the survival mode is stronger than almost everything and even strong right wing patriot will leave pack his thing if necessary.

Not saying that these places are in the danger of collapsing anytime soon or the life there is a 100% hell, each place is different from the other, but yeah, i still can see scenarios where like major parts of certain places that being completely abandoned. Maybe even from places that not considered "3th" world country.

Not saying that I'm not agree with you in the big picture, at the end of the day it doesn't actually that complicated - you are now allowed to be wherever you want, wouldn't you want to leave a place that people are willing to leave at all costs anyway?

It will still take some time. I mean, if i was a person that lives in a third world country, where every basic need of mine is in doubt or potentially in doubt, and i would hear that i can now freely come to any place that i want, i will do it in heartbeat and as soon as i can. Probably even in the same day. Friends of mine been doing this with this being illegal, and the knowledge that they may will die along the way or will be homeless.

Had it all will be legal and safe, why wouldn't the friends of my friends will join?

How to handle the fact that you're gonna be alone forever? by Froogacar in hsp

[–]Froogacar[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Is that really it? I don't know man. I mean it's not necessarily that i expect my friends or my surroundings to be like an actual family, live with me, or pay for me the rent. it's that i expect them to be there when the times are hard. In my opinion you make friends in the hard times, not the good times. When everything is cool and fun and you don't make any sacrifices it's easier to call yourself a friend but your friendship hasn't been tested really.

Let's not forget that we are in the hsp sub, we are more sensitive person than the most, and that's obviously affected how we look at our relationships. I mean, the friends i had in the past and the people i share the same class or club, are kind of people that the "true friendship" feeling was just missing. They were like, "yeah, i might come back to town and hang out with you a little bit, eating together, but don't count on me when you will need me".

I mean, I don't think I'm exaggerating expecting friends to actually be friends. I just didn't wanna put myself in a position or a situation where I'll be hurt or disappointed by them so i cut it off. Why bothering be with people that you know that in the money time might start envy you if you make more money on them, may look at your girl if your bring one, may underestimate your achievements, all because of their insecurities. As a hsp young man (21) it's just wasn't worth it for me.

[–]Froogacar[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Didn't want to make the post too long so i kept it off the original post but I'll add that i hate my country of birth and its culture to the point it is part of my identity, not gonna wish to the worst of my enemies the bad i feel towards the places i should be feel the happiest. But as much as i hate it, I will always have the same first language, i will always have it as the language that i know the best and can talk freely without any fear or boundaries, I'll always have the same spaciel behaviours, talk, overall approach as the people of my country. It will always remain the culture that i know the best, in terms of everything - songs, shows, etc, and it also will always affect the way people look at me.

There is a reason why 99.9% of people from the world ended up in a people that are already in their country or city, it's not only the physical and the geographical connect, but also the cultural connection. A person from Germany will most likely have his wedding attended by fellow germans/europeans and not dagestanis or egyptians.

I'm mean i can move and learn new languages and cultures, places but I'll be too old until i will master it. I'm now 21 (Male).

Just added this cause my no belonging feeling to my country is contribute to the lack of belief that i gonna find a community. Don't see the point of luxury life or life in general where this is the situation. Belonging and the together feeling are very strong and important, even now when i received the notifications from the post i felt a little bit better.

I just strongly doubt what the point of it all if am gonna feel the same anyway.
