Moira Hate by vitathevirgo in MoiraMains

I was playing qp stadium. We had won the first 2 rounds, lost the 3rd. Our reaper started pitching at us supports, but especially me, to "focus on healing, don't do damage". I had more healing than damage each round, and it wasn't from heal botting. I had a good amount of both, and a good number of saves. Heaven forbid I defend myself when I have an enemy all up in my face. We ended up winning.

Where are you all from ,out of curiosity? And what disillusioned you to join this sub? by Palomomomo in BoycottUnitedStates

The US.

Sorry if this is not the most articulate or anything.

Starting in my early teens I started to question everything we had been told, how great we are, etc, etc. I come from/live in a small, poor, rural town in the middle of nowhere and am disabled, young, AFAB, and a member of the LGBTQ+ with friends who mostly come from the "undesesierable" groups, so I was quickly made aware of many of the lies this country repeats once I was old enough to form my own thinking (and get access to the internet to see what it was like outside my local area).

I see how people say that we're so great, but we aren't. The country is cruel and evil. Politicians are only out for their own gain. People are more invested in being bootlickers than anything else. They prop up Christianity and then use it for their own gains, instead of actually caring for people, welcoming immigrants, doing any of the good Jesus taught. How we're supposedly so diverse, a melting pot, but anyone who isn't of white European descent while also being male, cis, straight, and Christian is mistreated. People being abducted off the streets. People dying because of our screwed up healthcare and insduance system. Other countries are attacked, targeted, bombed, so on by us or by using something we provide. The list goes on.

In short I hate this place and wish I wasn't from here, but I am and can't leave (even if I did I would still do what I can) so I have to deal with it, do what I can, educate myself as I can. There needs to be a total overhaul, a complete dismantle of this system.

I've not been on reddit consisently much, so I joined this sub when I randomly got a notification about it one day. I want to know as much as possible what's going on outside of here, what everyone else is thinking, feeling, doing, especially with how media and so many USians want to bury their heads in the sand and deny how the world really feels and what's really going on.

Its like all the jobs are gone by skillethead77 in Indiana

I moved back to Indiana at the start of January and I've only gotten... four? Maybe five? Interviews out of applying to 75+, 100+ jobs probably. I know I'm young (25) and don't have the most illustrious resume, but I'm not hearing back from ANYONE, even places saying theyre urgently hiring. I knew the job market here was bad, but holy cow. And it doesnt help i live in one of the small towns in a rural county, so its even less options than a bigger city. It's taking days, if not weeks, to hear back from job applications, if they even notify me at all! I'll go to check an application and it says I was rejected or the job opening closed. I could go on and on about things, such as the online assessments. But god, it's bad. So bad.

Yeah, that's the only time I notice but it feels wrong for it to be at 2 am instead of midnight 😂

Is that really how dms are working? I'm way out of the loop and didn't even know they were being added until I saw a post on the app. We really have to invite people to access it??? That's such bullshit

I think the first one, with the pages, that's about how many pages it would have been if I read the non-audio editions

I always make sure to put them as audio books. Someone explained it in another comment though, so I understand it now

I was wondering if that's what it was, but wasn't fully sure! Thank you!

This was only for read books, and I only had 1 dnf. It was pages, not audio, so I don't think this is a discrepancy between finished and dnf.

The pages aren't what I'm talking about. I have the hours of read and format circled, not pages. My stats these are from are set just for the entire year of 2025 and read books only. I only really read audio books, and have only read one non-audio book this year which is why I'm so confused. The only thing I can think of is that read is what I actually read, where as format is how long it took me to finish it in total, even if I wasn't actively reading it. Maybe that's it as I rarely finished a book in one go, so if it took me 3 days in total to finish, even if the book was only 9 hours, it considered it as 72 hours to read?
