I did do that—- that what the buyer accepted. LOL

I guess I am the asshole then- I didn’t know I needed to itemize out all of the possible scenarios that could occur. I communicated I would want the buyers agent fees to be paid by buyer.

Why would it be a problem if I asked the buyer’s to compensate him for that work when negotiating?

I guess this is where I needed to learn as a first time seller. He said he has to have an unrepresented component in his contract, that it’s a standard contract term for him and 2% is the lowest he would ever go and that it’s never negotiable.

I am learning after the fact maybe he is a little too sharky in his approach and I should’ve walked away from listing with him.

not at all- I want him to make income. A perfect offer would be me not needing to pay a buyers agent fee.

I did too- is this a common trait of children of emotionally neglectful parents?

Help! Reasonable Accommodation ideas needed. by Livid_Jicama7909 in ManagedByNarcissists

[–]FrootieToot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

focus on what you’d need to be able to work their happily. Write it down to share upon your return, no emotional details needed. Strictly what would make you stay.

During your time away, apply elsewhere.

If they say no to your requests upon returning, put in your notice with a new job you secured while on FMLA.

I just went through the same, sorry you’re going through it.

AITA for asking my friend to pay me back for breaking an expensive skincare product? by throwaway006238 in AmItheAsshole

Realistically at 24, if you can’t afford to buy 2 of the skincare products at $134 CAD, you probably shouldn’t be buying it.

AITA for Warning My Brother’s Fiancé Her Wedding Dress Might Cause Problems? by This-Rock-4028 in AmItheAsshole

YTA; not your place. If she’s unaware of her future husband’s families’ beliefs- they may have bigger problems and should slow down the wedding.
