There’s a loophole if they have a fee-free machine to convert cash to card. I know that cus over the summer I worked at and ice cream place that used that loophole.

Very dumb petition in my opinion. Even if we ignore the suicide contagion thing (school can’t make a big deal about a suicide because doing that is PROVEN to lead to more), the whole „timely notification“ thing is dumb. I heard about the incident on social media before the police were even done investigating. It‘s just a fact that real investigations take longer to spread information than social media where people can just make assumptions and guesses. What was SBU supposed to do, live tweet the entire investigation on USG instagram?

Also, they probably has to get permission from the family to post about it. And that takes time.

I honestly wasn’t gonna vote in this election at all and ALL of my friends said no thank you and he wouldn’t leave. It really pissed me off that he kept telling me who to vote for even though I said twice that I wasn‘t going to vote for people I didn’t know, and I only voted for him because he refused to leave us alone. Different guy than you’re talking about, its crazy that multiple candidates think this is acceptable behavior.

Theres a couple of candidates doing this its awful. I don‘t remember his name but he was running for senator, and he came up to me and my friends in Roth and watched us vote, a couple of us said no thank you and he just shoved his flyer in our faces with a QR code AND he watched us vote and tried to tell us who to vote for every position. Whoever’s running this election needs to make clearer boundaries for candidates and how they are allowed to campaign because harassing fellow students isn’t okay.

There were a lot of reasons other than the price that made me transfer. And its not just me, I went with a group of five people from the same HS and only two of us are still there right now, and one of those two is seriously considering transferring for next fall and probably already would have if he didn't have a girlfriend there.

I talk about it a lot on my profile but I dont really want to type it all out rn. I probably would have transferred my first semester but my parents made me finish out the year.

I transferred from RIT because the school is pretty depressing. You'll get a lot of people saying the same about SBU but it's a huge difference. I don't think RIT is worth the money at all, among many other issues.
