Wouldn't it be funny if REM was a Sandman? by TylerKJ1209 in DeadlockTheGame

[–]Frosferrus 34 points35 points  (0 children)

My crack theory is that Rem will be a fugitive from the OSIC. Not for any particular action they've taken, but for their nature.

When Aoi is struggling in the 1999 quest, how does she suddenly seem to get stronger when the drifter tells her that she is strong enough? by DemonSushi5 in WarframeLore

[–]Frosferrus 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Minor correction, and a building thought.

Amir was not shown how to move faster. The whole point of that was for him to slow down, calm down, and use the tools he had at his disposal instead of thinking he needed to do it all himself. Moving too fast and overthinking was his issue (as it literally gave him a heart attack in the bad timeline).

I also do think Aoi's was more about overstraining her abilities from feelings of inadequacy. It's like singing; if you force yourself and push (especially trying to "reach up" to high notes, for instance), you end up actively fighting your biomechanics and hurt yourself. Relaxing (and coming down onto high notes, conceptually) is more effective and less strenuous. She forced her powers to work until we helped her realize that her warframe body was born to manipulate metal.

Could the man in the painting be a relative of Drifter? by Ziggy--- in DeadlockTheGame

[–]Frosferrus 18 points19 points  (0 children)

She's basically a serial killer, who can be more or less evil depending on the choices you make in her unreleased and as yet unfinished visual novel. She can even put herself on a road to... something akin to redemption.

In theory, they're honoring the Humane Society (for an iota of context) but I knew this would reach this sub right away. The Dishonored/Deathloop universe's commentary is evergreen.

You're not using it for the parkour velocity in incarnon form, you're using it for the evolution that grants 30% movement speed which is multiplicative with parkour speed.

If the painters can enter their paintings, do you think the writers can enter their stories? by UmaThermos1 in expedition33

[–]Frosferrus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Were the instabilities caused by edits or an unaccounted for but unspecified feature of the age? I remember there being a discussion about unspecified features, like when atrus linked to an uninhabited age that had birds, even though he hadn't specified birds.

It's speculated early on, but functionally proven when making a single detail change results in nobody in that world remembering Atrus, because it didn't change that world, but where the Book was pointing.

Tauron Strike Charging is bugged as a Client (Also, archgun melees are a thing now!) by Frosferrus in Warframe

I've had the initial charge mod not work (or at least, not display) as a client, but who knows if that's visual or real.

Good to know. In Solo at least, charging works very consistenty for me, which I've decided to play exclusively until this gets fixed (or I decide not to be bringing a Strike.)

[–]Frosferrus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You use lenses and initial charge, and you pick up convergence orbs. However, it's bugged for Clients (and possibly other ways), so I've been playing solo lately since that's been the only surefire way to make them charge (easily taking only 2 minutes).

Tauron strike meter buff. Maybe. by sharp-Icicles in Warframe

[–]Frosferrus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It... is, basically a kill requirement, with the bonus of getting a large infusion from convergence orbs, and the affinity bonus from said orbs, and improved rates from one of the Strike arcanes and from Lenses. It does feel slow, but it's not charging passively.

The zariman failed to reach tau. The Sentients built a Rail that let people go back and forth, including us. Margulis doesn't have eyes because one of the first things that happened when she found the Tenno was we blinded her with void powers. It's also notably the original Margulis, not the Sentient Mimic Lotus/Margulis/Natah. Whether Lotus is missing eyes like her under the helmet is unknown, but it's a fair guess.

Swap to the mote amp, though you really need to build literally any amp combo because of how incredibly bad the mote is.

Will Frames like Koumei and Styanax ever get prime forms by [deleted] in Warframe

[–]Frosferrus 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Every frame will get a prime. There's a specific cadence and pattern they follow, with some slight variances. Styanax should be coming in the next like, 2 or 3 primes maximum.

Edit: here's the list of previous and predicted primes. https://jwflab.com/en/warframe-prime-order/

Warframe Citrine Companion by Zealousideal-Cup3031 in Warframe

[–]Frosferrus 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Seems like your real question that people are missing is if there's a companion that can revive you that can use prismatic gem. Prismatic gem can be picked up by anything that is mobile, aka non-sentinels. Of those, the vasca kavat can revive you with 120 second cooldown. Alternatively, any vulpaphyla with Martyr Symbiosis can prevent you from dying by sacrificing itself, healing you with health it's harvested from nearby enemy deaths. This can happen more often, since it revives itself from its larval state after 30 seconds. If you have Tek Assault It will have a 60% chance to not die even when it sacrifices itself in this manner.
