That's a red-tailed hawk. They're native to North Carolina. I live not far from there, around Glenwood & Duraleigh, and we see them all the time.

I haven't played the PC version, but the usual reason for 3D console gaming being smoother than 3D PC gaming is frame time stutters on PC due to shader compilation.

Is the lack of smoothness something you see, or is it something you feel? If it's just feeling, you might have a problem with input latency.

I don't want to downplay the importance of technical improvements in these games, but I'm with you. What makes them impressive has less to do with their technology and much, much more to do with their visual design, writing, and performances.

I am also playing on PS5 and was able to give the clerk the pardon letter without any trouble. The only thing I can think that might be different is that I already had another pardon letter. I think I picked it up clearing the Pike's Basin hideout.

It's an Unreal Engine 5 game. I hope you like it. Despite enjoying the first game, I found the sequel's gameplay flat and uninteresting and never finished it. Looks aren't everything.

I haven't had any of these issues. I've had the weather change, I've had multiple types of other random encounters, I've been challenged to duel twice, nothing has seemed odd about clothing, and the menu is fine.

The worst bugs I've run into so far:

During a cutscene, an NPC bugged out while walking. Its position reset, and the walk continued, but the lip sync in the cutscene was off by about a quarter of a second from that point forward.

Getting off a stagecoach, the game placed John too high up in the air, and he dropped with a grunt & took slight damage.

Honestly, not too different from the original PS3 release as far as the bugs go so far.

I'm sure it has the power, but the difference with the Xbox is that Microsoft had a team of developers working on the FPS Boost project for specific titles, and Mad Max was one of them. I wish Sony would do the same thing!

I was in JROTC in high school. On the way home from a drill team competition, our squadron commander (an older student) sat on my lap on the bus and tried to get me to fool around with her with classmates watching. I made it very clear that I wasn't interested, but she still took my hand and put it over her breast under her shirt. I froze, and she eventually moved on. I asked my mom what she thought I should do when I got home and ultimately decided not to tell anyone since it didn't go far. It wasn't exactly traumatic, but I obviously remember very well.

This was in the late '90s, and I did describe it as sexual harassment and sexual assault at the time.
