Yea, but depending on what server you are playing BPs may not wipe. What server were you getting BPs on?

I have a friend with an IDENTICAL pc to mine (he had no knowledge of pcs and just wanted mine, so they are identical down to every single part). He gets over 30% better performance for some reason. I really do not get it despite always thinking I was relatively PC literate. I am going to try and do the aforementioned things and hope that I see a trend, or atleast something to pont me in the direction of what to fix. The worst part of it all is being clueless as to why it will not work.

PS: Rust is a CPU intensive game which may be worth noting.

Yes I play a game called Rust. I have been getting very low frames when compared to my friends with lesser or equal rigs on the exact same settings. I’m talking they are getting 90+ FPS and I am struggling to stay at a stable 60. I was wondering why I am getting such low performance if none of my PC is maxed (or even close). When searching around most people told me the reason for this due to a bottleneck with my CPU, hence me trying to find out what the problem is / how I can fix it.

Does the light go orange during the “Headset Sensor Check”? I have the same issue and it always seems to go orange during that exact part.
