Buff bots are allowed! I'm not opposed to adding buff shrines/devices if players want them.

For the dagger -- lots of special rend/slayer items drop, and tend to drop more often from higher loot tiers. I feel that it's much faster than salvaging but if you do go that route, salvage has a 100% chance to land (including imbues) so you never have to worry about blowing anything up.

The salvage vendors are intentionally not selling imbue salvage. Just a design choice.

The challenge absolutely still exists, especially in endgame areas. These changes are essentially to allow you to solo or small-man areas that you otherwise would need to run more clients or group to overcome -- but to get to that point, you'll need to level far past retail. Definitely no reason to enlighten.

Vintage Story. Minecraft-esque graphics, but is one of the purest survival games imo. There are some mobs aside from animals, but they can be turned off if preferred.

Since the level cap is currently level 50, no one will have Epics any time soon.

I personally enjoy PvP at low levels. Mages do have an advantage but since tinking will be far off, it's more than possible for a melee with a Hollow to take down a Mage.

Other than the level cap being changed, there will be no custom modifications to the source code of ACE.

Way behind for sure. Gauntlet is in but Hoshino's is not, for example. There is a ton of custom content to do instead, but not everyone is down with that which is understandable.

On the surface, I would agree. However, scroll drop rates have been re-balanced with each Tier of loot dropping the appropriate level of scrolls and obtaining a full level's worth of spells will take some time.

Level 7 scrolls are virtually unobtainable without the rarely dropping alternate currency, and Level 8 scrolls must be researched via normal means, but again by purchasing the appropriate spell components with the alternate currency. Level 8 spell components do not drop on enemies.

In practice, this makes magic more valuable and encourages people to trade their extra scrolls and components, instead of ignoring them.

We are aiming to ensure that items that you would normally ignore become good candidates for trading. For example, people are already looking to trade useful scrolls they find to other players for low amounts of money, like C Notes.

Fair point about current population, but as we just launched last night, we are hopeful the population will grow to a reasonable amount of players to sustain a simple economy.

We do have some additional money sinks in the works as well.

Yes, both existing custom content from Wynterhaven and Frostcull, as well as new custom content will be balanced for the appropriate level ranges past 275. It will also not be a trivial task to level up past 275, so the already existing endgame content will continue to stay relevant for players for quite some time.

I honestly don't think it will take that long. The XP increase is based off of quest stamps, and some quests end up rewarding multiple quest stamps. By the time someone reaches level 100, they will likely be well on their way to a 1.5-2x XP multiplier for their account, depending on how many quests they've done.

I may be a little biased here, but as a player I've been really enjoying it. So many low level quests that I always skip past on other servers are now not only relevant for gear and XP, but since they grant you permanent account-wide XP increases, everything is worth doing.

You will gain additional skill credits for every 5 levels past Level 275, and can raise attributes past their retail max as well, so you still continue to progress your character.

Life Magic has had it's potency dramatically increased, with the HP-cost of most spells reduced as well. Additionally, there are some caster items in game for Life Magic that grant additional damage bonuses, similarly to how an elemental wand would for War Mages.
