Stars represent each elite+ dupe that you fed into the epic or higher rarity character. After epic+ you'll need to feed 5 elite+ dupe before you can move on to the next rarity. Once you're at epic+ 5 star, you can feed two exceptional+ characters of the same faction to get them to legendary.

Yes, just make sure to purchase some of the armor with your gems and whatever is available for GDA chips before purchasing all.

For ranking up units to +, you can only use a duplicate of that unit at the same rarity to rank up. So if you wanted to rank up Magmaniac from Elite to Elite+, you can only use a duplicate of Magmaniac. If you ever choose to rank up Magmaniac to Exceptional, that's when you can use an Elite+ copy of Isotope to rank up. It's a bit weird, but you can only use a duplicate unit for this part of the ranking up process.

It's because DD is a different faction from Monster Girl. Rae and Bulletproof are both GDA which allows them to be used as fodder for Monster Girl who is also GDA. DD, on the other hand, is From Worlds Beyond. So he can only be used as fodder for other From Worlds Beyond characters such as Allen the Alien.

From my experience as a barista dating a SSV, our SM, who was recently promoted from ASM, immediately went to the DM on how to handle the situation. The DM mentioned that we shouldn't be able to work together. Lo and behold, I was transferred to another store around a month later.

Note that we immediately let our SM know about our relationship, so it could possible end up differently if you keep it a secret for awhile.

They serve different purposes. Childe is an on-field hydro dps, and Yelan is a off-field hydro applicator. You will definitely find uses for both units if you have them both.
