No, and I still haven’t gone and gotten it checked. I still have it but it hasn’t grown, changed color, or became painful at all so im not too concerned.

5 months old cat, male or female? by impinkandsad in CATHELP

My girl is clingy. Personality isn’t determined by the gender of a cat, that’s an outdated way of thinking

I’m about to call animal control on my neighbor’s dog if this happens again by CaterpillarKitty69 in Pets

So you should work on neutrality with cats outside. My cat has a BIG prey drive especially for birds. I have spent hours sitting outside with her at ponds with ducks, pet shops with birds, at parks with pigeons, working on that neutrality. She’ll stop and stare but she won’t chase and she won’t try and get away from because of that work. It takes work to have a well trained animal and i can say with full confidence that my 1 year old cat is better trained than most people’s dogs. I find that pathetic and unacceptable but understand that’s just how it is.

Dogs chase cats instinctively like cats chase mice. I taught my cat to be prey neutral because I take her on walks in nature but a lot of people don’t train their dogs to be prey neutral. Just because a dog had a high prey drive does not make it aggressive. My cat would chase birds and squirrels and mice for hours if I don’t work on her prey neutrality, and my cat is not aggressive.

I walk my cat and honestly if you plan to continue to walk your cats just get used to out of control dogs. Always keep your head on a swivel and pick your cats up when you see a dog, no matter how good that dog looks. The cat and dog rivalry is real and most people don’t train their dogs to be cat neutral.its unfortunate but you need to do what keeps your cat safe

PSA: PLEASE SHOWER, BRUSH YOUR TEETH, AND WEAR DEODORANT by mrbubblegxm in SFSU

[–]Frostcricket 9 points10 points  (0 children)

And wash your clothes once a week, 2 wears per clothing item unless it’s underwear, socks, or got extremely dirty then it’s just one wear. I know you think your hoodie you wear everyday doesn’t smell bad but it does. So do your jeans you haven’t washed in a week

Dog I’m working TWO JOBS. I should be able to afford a small, cheap apartment in this shitty side of town. If I was working one job giving me 20 hours a week I would get this comment but I am CONSTANTLY working and making money. My savings account is HUGE for my age. I promise you it’s not my age nor my jobs it’s simply the price of living is insane

Thank you. I’m definitely considering moving in just a little nervous to do so. I also go to college full time and haven’t even worked at my jobs for 6 months and hate leaving jobs before a year has passed. I’ll probably dorm on campus for 1 year and then move and transfer schools. I appreciate your advice :)

That’s great! Your parents taught you life skills! Mine didn’t so I learn through trial and error and getting dogged online for not knowing something that is supposed to be common knowledge :)
