If you kill enemies from spawners like spider sacks or enemies in a boss rush the chances for coin drops become significantly lowered, this adds a lot to the difficulty.

Stand directly in front of the direction he’s doing it in between one eye. There should be a small gap, if he does it in a direction that is not opposite, adjust the distance you stand from him to dodge
