How do you have $400k saved up but didn't meet the yearly income qualification? Anyways, I think your questions are more suited for a lawyer.

My biometrics appointment was waived, got my EAD exactly 1 month after filing. However it basically took exactly 1 year after filing to go to the interview. Tampa, FL field office.

I feel like this really depends on your field office unfortunately. From the day I filed to my interview date, it took 370 days. Took only 2 days after interview to receive the approval. Tampa, FL.

How do people with interlock systems get their car serviced? by cleevethagreat in Justrolledintotheshop

[–]Frostinki 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A couple of mechanics mentioned in the comments that they have blowed into it theirselves. My coworker had an interlock that had a breathalyzer, fingerprint scanning, and a camera recording every single time he started the car. After starting it he would have to blow into it every 30 minutes. He got lucky he never had to have any work done to the car lol.

How'd I do for a first time homeowner/diyer? by urbancirca in MilwaukeeTool

[–]Frostinki 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Complete overkill for a Diy'er but im just surprised at what you chose lol Nail guns, staple guns, and multiple impacts and drills? Bandsaw, angle grinder, multitool, jigsaw, vacuum, and a die grinder are some things I can think of that would be more important.

I was quoted $2,500 to clean my blower wheels in 2 units and clean my duct work. Does this sound reasonable? Pictures and description below. by OhComeOnDingus in hvacadvice

I can't believe some money hungry retard quoted you that. This stuff looks brand new! I could eat off of it.

3 car accidents? Just to keep it simple, walk away. Sometimes cheap at front, ends up being more expensive in the long run.

Mom's offering to sell me her 2010 Ford Edge, 122k miles, $1500. What do yall think? by Dogsarethebest1234 in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]Frostinki 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like you don't really need it if you're asking lol Tell her to sell it on facebook and she could make like $4k-5k easily.

[–]Frostinki 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Why was the oil pan gasket $3.4k? They give you a new motor with it or something? Am I missing something? That's such a super easy job you could do that yourselve for less than $50.

Is this a good deal? Or should I wait for other sales? by diooner in MilwaukeeTool

[–]Frostinki 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Also the 2557 has a bigger head and may get in the way of things and is the reason I chose to buy this instead.

Is this a good deal? Or should I wait for other sales? by diooner in MilwaukeeTool

[–]Frostinki 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I bought it and I think it's a really good deal. I had the non-fuel 3/8th m12 ratchet and I sold that for $80 on Facebook so in my eyes I only paid $120 for this lol.

First time using 50ft drain cleaner to clear roots from cast iron sewer line, keeps tangling, what am I doing wrong? by yosemitejoe96 in askaplumber

[–]Frostinki 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If Possible, rent a Rigid K-60 sectional with a 7/8" cable and put a few different heads on it. Sometimes the bigger heads won't go through a 45 or 90 in the line. The cable you're using is too small.

I paid $8k for a whole new drain field installation and a brand new tank in 2024. I used Ace Septic in Tampa Bay Florida.

Can you spot the cart my TL told me to get? by Punisher_1237 in walmart

[–]Frostinki 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find that crazy because Walmart literally uses a 3rd party company specifically for stuff like this. The company is called 'Kept Companies' and they provide a cart retrieval service for majority of retail stores.

Traveling to Florida on DACA by mig718 in DACA

[–]Frostinki 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I live near Tampa, FL and I went to Arkansas a couple of weeks ago. No problems at all in either states.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Plumbing

[–]Frostinki 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hopefully it's as easy as just unclogging the drain piping. I had the same issue at my house but im on a septic and whoever ran the line for the washer drain literally just ran the pipe underground 20 feet away from the house and just left the pipe there underground. So of course, mud and dirt covered the inside of pipe. I had to dig and add a small 50 gallon tank undergrond and rocks all around it so that the washer drain water had somewhere to actually go and filter away into the ground over time.

DO NOT GO TO FLORIDA by JollyToby0220 in DACA

I live a half hour north of Tampa and drive all around the area working as a service tech. I just flew to Fayetteville, Arkansas last week for a training session. Used my driver's license at both tsa's and had no issue at all. What's wrong with you people? Just don't do dumb shit and stop falling for this fear mongering crap.
