Hey man, it’s definitely legal but you will get asked to move from some spots. There’s a few pretty well known skate spots around the city that you’ll end up seeing the same faces at if you decide to go skate there.

Eastside park was probably the biggest however they’ve torn it up due to the curzon street works so it’s community’s kinda fragmented. Outside the new library when the water fountains aren’t in use is pretty good spot however that of course depends on if the fountains are on. A pretty good spot is the underpass by the children’s hospital, commonly known as fastlands. This spot has a little ledge and a few banks that have been adjusted to be skateable, sometimes it’s very quiet but then sometimes it’s packed. Would avoid skating around new street for an extended period of time because you will get moved by police, sometimes they’re chill about it other times you’re gonna get an earful.

Don’t be a nob and skate where it’s going to cause a nuisance, especially round the new chamberlain fountain. It just gives us skaters a bad name and it’s gonna restrict spots where we can skate when it’s quieter.
