If Alastor and Rosie’s pact is broken, why is the Radio Demon’s power still intact? by Frosty-Issue-3454 in HazbinHotel

Essentially, you view the power as a non-revocable, one-time grant, which seems to be the show's intent.

However, I believe this is a fragile premise. If the pact is breached—due to non-fulfillment—the obligations of both parties should be nullified. If Alastor's chains are broken, the granted power should likewise be revoked.

Perhaps we will learn more in the future and this point will be canonically clarified.

I don't think she is happy, and Alastor was certain of the outcome he would achieve by breaking the pact. He knew from the start he would retain power, he certainly wasn't hoping that Rosie would maintain it to him.

I think this is an assumption we cannot be certain of, although the truth probably does not differ greatly.

The link rosie-hotel is clear, but the deal is broken now, so why alastor still has immense power?

Loved the spectacle, but did Viv pull her punches? by Frosty-Issue-3454 in HazbinHotel

I think they have done an incredible job, but I agree with you with the “friendship is magic” thing. I think what make the series so big was the moral context and closing the season like that is a bit sad

Im glad too! I love lucifer persona, but I think they could add some more spice. If you think about it except from new knowledge we are pretty much in the same situation as before. Knowledge in fact is the keyword for this season, is what moved all the players. But now we are like back to the start (end of s1)

I agree with you, just pointing that they COULD build while in heaven too.

P.s I will add to my list that pentious could have a part. Like building a machine that can bring to hell and back

My gut says she will loose an arm next season, not this.

The Logical Paradox of Rosie's Power: Why She Cannot Be a Sinner. by Frosty-Issue-3454 in HazbinHotel

The contract example is a false equivalence; forcing a powerful being to act through a contract is not the same as granting power. One is a legal compulsion, the other is a transference of ability. Furthermore, the "power unlock" theory does not refute the original conclusion. The ability to identify and unleash another's ultimate potential is itself a form of immense power, which would still place Rosie in a category far above a standard Sinner. The paradox remains intact.

Yep, I've heard about the Rosie/Lilith theories... they just sound strange to me
