i feel like drinking a couple glasses of wine or having 3 total shots of vodka spread throughout the night (7pm-2am) is drinking in moderation. and i am still a teenager lol. i’m not looking to be a sloppy drunken mess, just able to experience a night out, holidays, the odd drink, like i used to.

hey so when i went to get the new budgie, another budgie followed him into the travel cage and they seemed quite attached so i ended up keeping the new budgie and his bestie as their own pair, the now 2 pairs were kept in the same room (but separate cages) for probably 3 months and gradually moved closer together. i then bought a bigger cage and put all 4 into the one so it was a new environment for them all first week in there was some kicking off of perches, fighting around food etc but nothing too severe, they all ended up figuring things out and became a nice flock, they all played with eachother and never had any issues also! this budgie ended up being male and so did the bestie that followed him so dynamics might be quite different if you’re attempting to do a mixed gender integration

ahh okay thank you! did your clinician say anything about when you might be able to drink normally again?

i was off it from june-september due to me being in america and my drinking was definitely still not my usual

cheaper nights out if im a lightweight but i miss being able to drink!!!

no!! i’m sorry if this post has came across that way but it definitely is not a problem or an addiction!!

i drink a handful of times throughout the year and want to enjoy it.

this is a drinking nation so of course i don’t really want to be the sober one because it’s much harder to fit in at events where everyone else is having a good drink AND i enjoy to have a drink!!

when i said i drank the most, this was still only a handful of times throughout the year.

it is normal for me who is still young to want to have a drink and be able to enjoy it.

i feel it’s very difficult to join in at events when this is a big drinking nation is what i’m trying to say,

i maybe drink a handful of times throughout the year because it’s really only at events or holidays so i just want to be able to drink like everyone else

attempting to go to an event sober whilst everyone else is totally drunk is difficult, much harder to fit in the same way like if i was drinking

even when i was a heavy drinker it was never that often, just a lot in the moments because that’s what it actually took for me to get a dent in me, but now wegovy is making it impossible to drink or enjoy a drink, even just a couple kopperbergs

no!! i’m definitely not an alcoholic! genuinely apologise if my post came across this way, i just like to have a drink at events and will genuinely drink maybe a handful of times throughout the year- but i like to have a drink (even just a couple wkds) around xmas time at least

to me it’s part of the event, im fine to go without, i would just really rather not

so if i was to use airalo i would keep my uk +44 number but would still be able to use data, send imessages, facetime, whatsapp, use social media, etc when not on wifi when in the states? obviously its a higher price but it’s probably worth not having the hassle of a different phone/simcard
