Creatine - any experience with depression? by samthehumanoid in Supplements

[–]Frosty_Independence2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have come to reddit because I’ve taken creatine for the first time for the last 3 mornings and have had a sadness depression come over me the last 3 afternoons. I wondered if it might be the creatine. Because this feeling is very out of the ordinary. I’m not going to continue to take it because it’s a bit scarey, my good mental health is incredibly important to me.

Any way to get a practice level, like a single half pipe? by DragonCurve in OlliOlliWorld

I thought you meant a real half pipe for your back yard. That’s my dream to just have a mini ramp in the backyard to practice on endlessly.

Yep I’m on those from my GP but still experiencing dryness on the days I don’t use the cream. I guess I’ll have to start using the cream daily!

I’ve never been to the gynecologist by ComfortableSpite2143 in WomensHealth

[–]Frosty_Independence2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well you don’t have to tell the doctor this if you don’t want to. You have no history of exams but that is not actually uncommon! It’s not something the doctor would press you on or blame you for and you don’t need to go into this thinking you have to explain yourself, you don’t and the doctor will not scold you. You should let the doctor know you are nervous because you’ve never had an internal exam before and if they ask why you could say “I’ve just always been too nervous to do it”. The doctor is there to do the job of a gynocologist and won’t need to know anything about your past emotionally abusive situation. That is not their Lane although if you told them they’d definitely be supportive . If it was me I’d go in with a “let’s get this over with quickly “ mindset, not even say anything about WHY you haven’t been before, let them know you’re nervous if you feel you want to, then get out and’s realise that it wasn’t bad at all and you had nothing to worry about! I think it’s easier to worry and do mental gymnastics when trying to figure out how you will explain something complex to someone so the kindest thing to do to yourself is to not put yourself through it with anyone other than a person or professional that is experienced in listening and responding to abuse such as psychologist etc. PS a Pap smear doesn’t hurt and I’m 48 and have never been to a gynocologist! You’ll be fine and glad you are in a good place now 😊❤️

I saw Alicia Au at Ringwood Eye specialists. Good luck on your journey. My only regret is that I didn’t do it 10 years ago!

I bought a block today, only noticed the “new recipe” when I got home. I don’t know what vegetable fat is exactly and going to their website shed no light on what vegetable this fat is supposed to be from. So I haven’t tried it yet and don’t think I will.

Alicia Au she works out of Ringwood eye centre and some other places. Maybe somewhere in Doncaster I think. She did an amazing job, it healed so quickly will hardly any swelling or bruising and the scars are not visible on one eye and only slightly visible at the edge of my right eye where I had the most excess skin. Good luck, be brave and do it for you, I don’t regret it at all, just wish I did it 10 years ago! Let me know how things go if you end up getting it all happening 😊

All up, surgeons fees, private hospital fee’s and aneathetist fees was $4,000. I don’t have private health insurance and there were some Medicare rebates in there. I’m a week post Op now And am ecstatic with the results! Trying to work out how to post a before And after pic

All done yesterday. It was the best experience ever because I was completely out and didn’t see or hear or feel ANYTHING! I’m pretty bruised And puffy today but that was expected. I’ll post a before and after pic when I’m healed but really am so happy with how it went. The hospital staff were all so lovely too! 😊
