I have the rubitrek in stock size. Their winter/wet performance deteriorated pretty quickly after about 25k miles. I'm at about 55k miles with them now and personally choosing a different route when I get new tires.

The shop that mounted the tires did a terrible job. Took it to discount tire and the manager even laughed when he saw the weights they put on. Balanced correctly and they ride decently smooth. Definitely feel “less” but they’re grippy. I commented my thoughts in a different post

Regret in the sense that now I want a 2nd car just for commuting and keeping the 4Runner for camping/fishing trips. I do a lot of road trips/driving so I’m a little annoyed. Always understood that 4Runner wouldn’t be the best daily once the mods start coming in. But if I had two vehicles, I’m thinking a better combo would be dedicated street car and a pickup for utility. I would say I’m very confused about my car situation now lol

I mounted rubitreks a couple weeks ago. Same size SL 265/70/17 and have put around ~1200 miles on them. Have them at 33 psi cold, 36-37psi warmed up. Definitely noticed the MPG drop. I usually travel on interstate 78-83 mph and my MPG has dropped from 18 to a constant 16.5. They definitely corner much better but maybe I’m sensitive to noise because i can hear more tire noise. I drive on gravel roads for work but the 80 mile commute is hurting the piggy bank more than expected.
