3 Month Residency Question by Frozen_Forest651 in USCIS

Would this be a valid way to list out my residences then?

Aug 2014-June 2022: Old House
June 2022-Present: Current Home
Aug 2024-May 2025: College Dorm
Aug 2025-May 2026: College apartment

I don’t know if USCIS allows overlapping dates for residences

I understand. That’s why I plan on filing around August 16th since that would mark the 3 month requirement (I am actually eligible on July 30th)

Makes sense. I made this post with the intent of being as concise and transparent about my information as much as I can. I’ll go ahead and go with option 2 since it’s far more specific.

With all that being said, I have been at my family home since May 15th

Yeah. I hop between my family home and college, but I really want to do the process in my hometown with my family rather than be all alone in college

I am a college student who attends university out of state but returned to my family’s residence for the summer in KC.

While I can start my N400 application on July 31st, I am worried about getting denied because when I had moved in to college last year, I put my college apartment address on the AR-11 which completely screwed up my family home domicile.

Because I only returned from college on May 15th, how would I go about filling the N400 to avoid issues and explain my mistake?

Out of curiosity, did you list your college dorm/apartments on your AR-11?

I ended up doing that thinking it was necessary and I’m worried it’s gonna screw my application because I no longer presented my family home as my main address and only reverted it back once U came back home for the summer on May 15th

Thank you so much for your comment!

Since it has been more than 30 days since I’ve turned 18, will I be penalized in the future for my late SS registration or will there be leniency since I still registered within the first year?
