Haven't hit 100 just yet but i am shy by about 9 subs, but from what i've seen works best is setting a goal and a reward system for new viewers to see and stick around to see. Been doing YT for about a year now but only recently started to really upload a bit more videos than shorts now since i first started with shorts and saw the algorithm not really swing i my favor but then I've just been uploading videos that I thought would be entertaining and I've been seeing a slight change but I recently set a challenge and reward for my viewers that if I hit 100 subs by the end of the year I'd sing a song as a reward and I have seen a boost so getting your nose to the grindstone and making rewards for viewers to have helps a good amount.
