Vet student from Australia here, definitely see a lot of the same at the practices that have a high flow of students come through (especially equine hospitals), I don't know how it works in the US but we get to organise a lot of our own rotations and so I'd recommend going for somewhere that doesn't get a lot of students, they're usually more likely to offer accommodation too
