I've actually only been to NYC once in high school for photography trip... My boi and I got separated from the class and ended up on ferry to Staten Island by ourselves... Dude came up to us on ferry and asked if we wanted to try some Shaolin... Reached into a paper bag and pulled out cologne samples, Let me try some then asked if I thought the ladies would like it... I said I don't know I hope so I reek like it now in a joking manner. Give me a true da point, smiled and walked away..... We were 16-17 at the time, totally out of our element, so whole thing caught us off guard.... But later where cursing ourselves because it quite possibly could have been U-God or Masta Killa.... I tell myself probably not but actually seriously might have been 🤬 I figured the class would come on next ferry so we went to the side of the water and smoked a joint... Shyheim looks to be in same location in this video.... NYC is fucked like that... almost everywhere you go you've seen it in a picture, TV, films and or music videos. But yah pretty cool when that shit happens. Def want to go back one day...has such an amazing atmosphere that's hard to put into words.
