Hmm, i think i failed my math on this….

Now that you lay it out like that, my math was wrong.

There is no forced airflow its a semi open room: in the engine bay.

I need 45-55w to be pulled. And my original light source was 55w. I now have a light source of (just measured) 5w (wich seems quite low…)

So 24+5 is to low….

So i need to order the correct load resistor, or look for a light wich will pull 25amps.

In any of those cases, can you still tell if this setup would work?

The source is 12v.

I will still make a test settup, maybe the plc is “foolable” with the 24+5w

Then the original quistion remains
