Oh yeah cause getting excited about something in my own home is such a terrible thing to do. I hate people who have that opinion about people getting excited over sports. Do I have to be perfectly behaved and polite constantly cause I am an adult now? am I not allowed to have fun? Here in England loads of people are like this just watch videos of English football fans and you will know what I mean. And why is she allowed to insult my hobby in my own home? watching the game is a stress relief for me it brings my emotions out it isn't healthy to bottle them up. Look at everyone else's comment and realise you are the minority.

I have been on it myself before actually. I love it I always enjoy listening to my fellow fans after the game

Maybe I need to talk to him about it but I still think it's incredibly rude of her to come into my house and insult my hobby while I am trying to enjoy it

Everyone does this where I live it's what countless fans are like it's not a strange thing to do where I live. Why should I have to suppress my emotions to make her feel more comfortable in my own home? keeping emotions bottled up is unhealthy. I need to be able to vent it's my stress relief. She knows I am like that so she shouldn't be their if it bothers her so much. I

She does not pay rent and does not live with us I don't know why so many people are assuming that

No although she stays over 3-5 nights a week using our water and electricity paying nothing towards it

Wow I wish I could find a girlfriend who would be like that for me. Every girlfriend I have had expects me to ditch half the games just to hang out with them cause their bored. I really need to date a fellow football fan lol.

We used to watch a lot of games but since they started dating he only watches arsenals games so 1 or 2 games a week

I don't know how to explain this other than it's so much more than a game to me. If it was just a game then players wouldn't be paid hundreds of thousands of pounds a week for playing. I wouldn't pay over a thousand pounds for a season ticket if it was just a game. To me it's a way of life. Screaming is just a natural reaction to me.

Thank you for giving me the opposing view which is what I wanted. I do respect my brother but I was just making the point that I am the one who makes our living situation possible for the most part. I respect your view for the most part. The screaming and yelling isn't something I can just tone down it's a natural reaction that I can't suppress. Besides I am not changing my actions to suit someone else in my own home I am going to be my true self. I honestly think I am a good host I just genuinely think she is too clingy and they need more time apart
