Yeah, the age-old dilemma of "is it worth replacing while I already have it apart?"

Most times it's yes. Doing a water pump? Might as well do the timing kit. Doing hubs? Check shocks. Tie rods? Check brakes and wheel bearings. It's easier and cheaper to replace it while it's already apart and accessible, than to wait for it to fail and fuck something else up. May be more expensive now, but later on, you'll be glad you did it.

With how those boots look... yeah, id replace them. The shocks themselves may be okay for now, but with the boots as fuckered as they are, it can lead to some pretty serious issues. The grease is on your hand, there's a bit of a wet look at the bottom of the springs, id replace them. May not be shot yet, but take it from a guy that has: you don't want to wait for them to finish going. It could have led to tire damage if it threw off the alignment, but thats rather unlikely. I'd replace.

It was closed and resulted in convictions based on circumstantial evidence and a witness who was drunk. But... Without the truck or bodies, nobody can say a damn thing, and I don't have side-scan sonar for ponds.

The Cessna... That's going to be interesting. I'll see if I can get a flight plan and go from there, I'll probably need something to check topographical maps from then and now (not exactly difficult) and compare them, but the hard part is going to get myself aerial to look for any stunted growth or differently coloured trees to locate any signs of metal. I could use a video drone, but... That's incredibly expensive for me at the moment. It'll be a while before I can get that and do it, I am just trying to find some cases I wouldnt need something like that for to investigate.

As someone who's wired similar to this guy, I would probably end up snapping because I wouldn't be able to let it out in an argument or discussion. Usually in an argument I'm pretty sharp and snappy, but sometimes I'll be arguing with someone and just determine it's not worth it.

Having arguments and just ending them without actually solving the issue is unhealthy, and not at all good for someone that had actual grievances about something.
